I bought this set of feeding bottles for use with a litter of kittens in my care. The nipples that came with a couple of styles of bottles I purchased did not stand up at all to teething kittens. The kittens would chew through a nipple often with the first use. The nipples included with this product are much sturdier. I only used the long, narrow style of nipple. The markings on the bottles are accurate for mixing kitten formula. The volume markings on the bottle are part of the bottle and not ink, like a syringe. Syringe markings smear or wear off, becoming unusable. This bottle does not have this problem.One of the kittens in the litter was not ready to move on to starting pate kitten food at the same time as the other three kittens but still seemed to need more substance in a meal than just kitten formula. I was able to thin the pate with formula and place it in the bottle. I would always start by offering her some of the pate kitten food before giving her the bottle. I had cut the narrow nipple to a little more than 1/4 inch. The kitten was easily able to suck this mixture out of the bottle. As time went by, I increased the pate and decreased the formula in the bottle. I also started to gently squeeze the bottle since the mixture was thicker. The kitten ate this way for a couple of weeks. Then one day, she started eating food from a plate. Within a couple of days, she was done with the bottle.The reason I went into so much detail is that the nipple I used to feed this kitten is still in good shape and could continue to be used by a hungry kitten.The bottles work well and are easy to clean. I didnât use the included brush much. I was able to easily wash the inside of the bottle by rinsing it well and then filling it about a third full of hot water, adding a couple of drops of dish detergent, then placing my hand over the bottle opening and shaking it vigorously. Next, I would stick an index finger in the bottle and rub the entire interior surface to clean it. The durable nipples are also easy to clean.

Good, but my kittens did not latch
I help foster kittens and know how hard it is to find the right bottle. My current litter did not latch on these but did on another brand. All kittens are different so Iâm sure they will work for some. The quality was definitely good, although the holes are not pre-cut, which is fine but I prefer the pre-cut holes. The bottles are kind of thin, which allows you to gently squeeze if needed, but I also prefer a little bit of a harder bottle. Iâm sure they will work for others, but they werenât a perfect fit for my kittens. Since all kittens prefer different bottles Iâm not going to give a bad rating, just not great for me.

These little bottles are a lifesaver. Iâve been using them to hand-feed orphaned kittens, and theyâve been working great. The 4 ounce size is perfect without being too bulky or hard to handle.The bottle is easy to squeeze but not too soft, so you have good control over the flow. The nipples are decent quality and didnât leak on me, which is always a win. I did snip the tips a bit to adjust the flow for my kittens, but thatâs pretty normal.Super handy to have a few of these around if youâre fostering or working with small animals. Just make sure to clean them properly between uses (they clean up fine with warm soapy water). All of the supplies needed for cleaning are included.

Life saver!
This is a life saver kit. I had a momma cat get ran over and left behind 4 one day old kittens. So I had to bottle feed them. This set comes with different size nipples so you can feed kittens or puppies. The kittens were able to latch on after a short while of learning what to do. It worked perfectly. I like how you get 4 sets of bottles. It made it easy for me since there was 4 kittens needing fed. It was feed and go onto the next baby. The bottles are easy to clean and it comes with a nipple brush so you can make sure you get it cleaned easily. All the babies are doing nicely with the bottles and have full tummies and seem content. Thank goodness for this great bottle set! They are a must have to have on hand if you have animals incase of emergency situations. I highly recommend!!
