Water puppies are bastards
Puppies. Puppies that like water. Puppies that like to dig in the water bowl and make a mess. All. Over. The. Floor. Little bastard puppy. He goes to work and is in the kennel while we are busy. He likes water. Any kind of water. And he likes play in the water. Any kind of water. This includes water bowls. So his kennel is soaking wet and his blanket is wet and his toys are wet and he is wet. So I bought him a bucket. It gets clipped to the kennel door with a belay clip that screws shut. Because the little bastard would probably unhook the clip so he can play in the bucket. The bucket is well made stainless steel with flat side so it lays well next to the kennel door. It feels heavy duty (maybe not malinois heavy duty but enough for the little bastard who is a malinois/catahoula mix. I was really impressed with it. I mean itâs a bucket, but itâs a really nice bucket. Shipping was quick and the cost was fantastic. If he decides to go to his malinois destructive side Iâm hoping it will hold up.So the first two hours… he managed to play in the water and made a little bit of a mess but not nearly as bad as a bowl. His bed and blanket were dry and so were his toys. Okay, I can deal with that.Day two… filled the bucket and no playing!!! No water all over the floor and he used the bucket like the young gentleman Iâm expecting and wishing he will become. It will be a matter of time whether it will deter his shenanigans and he hasnât really started teething yet… and heâs not deterred by metal. He loves to carry around my keys.I just have to remember…heâs not an Aussie. Heâs not an Aussie. Heâs not an Aussie.I might be a little biased.

#1 Most valuable “under the radar” item!
This are optimal to feed dogs with for a deluge of reasons: 1) They are virtually indestructible; I have been using mine for nearly 30 years of daily use; 2) Use them in a crate to teach a dog that their special room is where they are fed and treated; 3) Feeding in their crate eliminates the need to have a placemat somewhere in your house with a dog bowl or two where people trip over it and it attracts pests; 4) Pails are fully dishwasher safe (keep a few extras on-hand to take in the car, have some in use, some in the dishwasher, and another at the ready to use; 5) If you have multiple animals and have concerns about “policing” feeding time so that all get their proper ration (no more from stealing and no less from being stolen from) then feeding like this in crates will solve those problems too. 6) This method = No crud, clean floors, good eating habits, confirms portion control, incredibly durable product. Honestly, after using this method and having my guests swoon over how effective it is, I wonder how/why anyone would use any other method.

great
Great for hanging in the dog kennels to give them water. you will need a double stainless snap hook with it but I’ve probably purchased 100 of these things over the years. You definitely want the 2 quart not the one quart even for small dogs.

Good Quality
Perfect size, good quality metal, not cheaply made. I use these to hold water in my dog pens and runs. With a clip, the flat back makes it more stable and less likely to spill and keeps it off the ground where bugs and dirt can get into the water.

Very good Value
As others have stated, the handles will fall off. But they are heavy spring steel. So tighten them, if you have dog that plays with their water bucket. I would definitely buy again

Water pail for dog crate.
This item was purchased ten years ago for our older dog and still functions well. The flat side is unique and designed to lay against the side of a dog crate. Attach to crate with carabiner clip which makes attachment a removal easy. Now with a second dog, we have purchased a second pail. Ideal for what it was designed for.

The bucket is much smaller than suggested in the picture. Nice & sturdy bucket though.
