Iâve used the classic equine legacy boots for years but was curious about the 2x cool boots and I loved the cheetah print here so I tried them. Thereâs definitely less overlap when putting them on which didnât bother me..theyâre almost easier to put on than the legacy boots.I use them mostly for running barrels as a reference. They are significantly thinner so if you have a horse that you know clips himself when heâs moving/running Iâd definitely get something thicker so he has concussion protection.Being thinner, I did enjoy using them this summer. I noticed my horses legs werenât near as sweaty when I took them off compared to the classic equine ones.As far as quality..in my opinion Iâm not sure theyâll hold up as long as the classic equine boots that I have but they are still in good condition after using them for a year.Theyâre easy to clean and dry pretty fast comparatively to the others I have.Overall Iâd probably buy another pair of this 2xcool kind.

Hind boots for DSLD
My horse is newly diagnosed with DSLD and he wears boots over night to support his dropping fetlocks. Most boots heat up the fetlock but these have an amazing cooling technology that keep the fetlocks cool. My farrier has a heat gun and we checked the heat of his fetlocks after he had worn the boots over night. Temperature of the fetlocks with the boots were just two degrees above his regular body temperature. I am pretty impressed with these boots and highly recommend them. On a side note, he is bootless while out in the pasture during the day.

Sizing is an issue ð
Sizing is way off, small and medium did not fit my 14.2 hand quarter horse. I used the professional choice sizing chart off their website for this particular boot. Be careful where you order from. Make sure you look before you order. I ordered from a tack shop and their return policy was not as easy to return as it to Amazon. My mare was on stall rest for an injury so I really needed the boots to fit. I should have bought large (for a 14.2 hand horse ) but after returning the first pair and getting the second pair that still didn’t fit I ended up going to Schneider’s and ordering different boots from them. Schneider’s was super fast shipping and their customer service was great!

Bought in July for my injured horse during recovery. Used the first time today for a short 10 min walk. The stitching is loose and will never hold up considering the brand and price. Love this brand but recieved a defective product. Im outside of the return date but i will wait to see what Amazon is willing to do yo help. Disappointed as my horse needs these now and daily.
