High quality but size runs large, too big for my QH mare

These are oversized
I have a large Quarter horse, about 1000 lbs and almost 16 hh. Everything I get for him is in the Large size. These boots in a large are so big I could not get them to stay up!! I even tried shortening the Velcro attachments but that didnât help at all. They were just to big!!

Falling off
The boots keep falling off. Sometimes they stay on but most of the time they fall down to the fetlocks. Not worth my money, although the quality looks nice.

They can fix it
It works, but itâs oversized. The easy fix would to add more Velcro strap on the inside Velcro. Then you could pull it tighter.Surprised Pro choice went cheap on this amazing product. Does not make since they cut it short by 3 inches of Velcro. Then it would work great

I have a horse that has some weird, unidentifiable (per vet and diagnostics), hock swelling. After wearing these for a month, the swelling has reduced by over 50%. The only downside is they don’t go all the way around the hock and part of the swelling she has is in the front. We’re going to try the Back on Track wraps that go all the way around next. These are great, they stay in place. Horse is a 16 hand, medium boned, thoroughbred, and the medium fits well.

Good hook boots
These have worked well while traveling and are therapeutic as well. I use them when Iâm at stalls with hard floors. Work great to keep down hock sores. You do have to make them pretty tight though because you will have some slipping

Decided to try these out instead of the back on track brand hock wraps that Iâve used in the past. I must say I am not disappointed with the purchase and actually like these better than the b.o.t. brand (never thought Iâd say this, because I love their products!). These are more flexible and lightweight than the b.o.t. wraps but warm up the hock just as quickly. Not to mention cheaper!Iâve only been using these for a month so I canât speak to durability. The b.o.t. Hock wraps lasted me a long time but were so stiff and a bit annoying to put on with all the straps. These professionals choice wraps are so easy to put on and take off and my horse hasnât tried to kick them off or do any funny moves when in the crossties so I have to imagine they are more comfy for him too!Highly recommend. For size reference, I have a 16hh TB and the medium size fits perfectly.
