Not for Anyone Other Than Professional Groomers
The product details on the page specifically say that these are compatible with “most” trimmers. However, I have a Wahl trimmer and these are not compatible with mine. I guess that doesn’t disqualify them from being compatible with “most” trimmers, but the truth of the matter is that unless you have a several hundred dollar trimmer, these are not going to work with it. They’re also kind of flimsy and bend fairly easily (as seen in the photo). Take special care to the word “professional”

Nice clip on combs and a sturdy case at a great price
This is a very nice set of entry level clip on combs that will fit any A5/full size clipper with detachable blades.I say entry level because they are made entirely of plastic which has the potential to break while higher end clip on combs have metal blades these days.But assuming that you are careful and always use a side table when you set equipment down they will work well and last. I am a Nationally Certified Master Groomer and highly recommend never setting any equipment down on a table with a dog on it, that’s just asking for your tools to be knocked off and broken.This set contains nine clip on combs- most sets contain only eight and the extra is the black 1¼/32 mm comb. This is a very long length and will definitely come in handy.The case itself is durable and large.If you have trouble using these clip on combs please double check that your blade is sharp, clean, and oiled. Like any other clip on comb these will work best when used over a #30 blade. Your dog’s coat must be freshly bathed, dried, and brushed out before you attempt using a clip on comb. They will not ‘power through’ tangles and mats- coat preparation is crucial for a nice finish. Clip once then brush up and go over it a second and even third time if need be.Happy grooming!

Useless
Absolute waste. Does not fit an A-5 Wahl clipper. They were advertised as being stainless steel but are plastic. Cheaply made. Invest in name brand. The only place this goes will be a landfill unfortunately.

The blade case is great !
This is a bit difficult to review because this is a nice set that contains nine blades that are clearly marked but itâs not exactly what thought I was getting . The case the blades come in is made of a very hard plastic and is especially designed so that each slot is actually marked for its own special blade. I was very impressed with the case.My issue with this set is that it advertises stainless steel pet grooming blades and there is little bit of stainless at the base of the blades but the entire blade itself is all plastic! All nine of them are completely plastic. I had to go back and read everything twice and I am curious to find out what others think of this.I did think that the price point for 9 stainless blades was really great. The fact remains that I would not have requested plastic pet grooming blades which is what I received. I may edit this review at a later date but Iâm giving it the benefit of doubt because there is a small amount of stainless in the blades and the case is pretty remarkable . Sometimes you just have to try new things before you find something great.

Theyâre Okay
I thought they were going to be the normal metal combs. They are just fully plastic. I guess for the price that tracks but plastic combs just do not glide through the hair to cut as easily as metal ones do

Very effective animal guide.
I really like this set because I have a Yorkie Shih Tzu who usually does go to a groomer to get his cut….but to save some coins, I started cutting him myself at home. I really appreciate how the this set offers a variety of guards that you can use to give different types of haircuts during the season of the year. For example there are guards that you can use for the fall season and there are some that you can use for the winter season and each one has a different measurement to it which is really helpful to determine which would best provide the best cut. The guides are rust resistant and are compatible with A5 clippers. These guards are versatile because you can use them on cats, dogs as well as horses. The set also comes with instructions as well. In my opinion this is great kit to have to get the best grooming haircut, for your fur babies.

Plastic NOT SS
In the product description, it says “9 Color Stainless steel guide comb and a storage box.” These guide combs are plastic not stainless steel. The plastic seems sturdier than ones I’ve used but plastic nonetheless.The storage box is sturdy and I like that they include 1 1/4 in combs. Overall if you dont mind using plastic guides this set is for you.

A wide variety of guards!
This is an assortment of plastic (not metal, unfortunately) guards. I liked that there was such a wide variety of guards and I loved that they were packed into a nice holder. Everything fit so snug.
