Update 3/4/24 Soon after this review my Arco clipper (don’t buy one) was performing worse and worse so I ended up buying a new set of batteries for it. This week I needed another blade and decided to try this one again. This time it performed much better with the new batteries. There are times when the blade would jam up on dense areas and I would have to move the lever back and forth to clear it. It was usable though and I used it on several dogs today. I have upped my rating to 3 stars. It will get the job done, hard to say if it’s worth the savings.I have used this type of blade many times before, but never with the black finish. Does the finish affect the sharpness? The black finish is on the cutting surface so it was done after sharpening. I tried this blade several times and had to give up on it. On the 40 setting I had to do 3x the work to get the same results, on 10 it acted like a dull blade and with combs the results were sub par.I have used aftermarket 5 in 1 blades before, this one let me down.

Stick with wahl brand!
Quality is awful! Dropped one on soft ground from short distance and the plastic broke where the blade is no longer usable. Will nick paw pads when shaving feet. Never had issues with that before trying this brand. They seem to get off track and the blade gets angled where it goes past the guard. Not safe at all! Do not recommend! I wanted to try a cheaper alternative but will be going back to wahl brand after this experience.

One of the best generic blades Iâve tried, fits Wahl Creativa
I tried three different brands of generic blades, and this YAZIYIR 5-in-1 blade is tied for the best of the ones that I tried. Not only that, but at $20, itâs a fraction of the cost of the Wahl-branded blades. OEM Wahl blades for my Wahl Creativa are expensive, ranging all the way up to $60.This blade cut well with no pulling or roughness. It was like using my Wahl blade back when it was brand new. I hope this will hold up just as well as the original blade, and Iâll come back and amend this review if it doesnât. I would definitely get this blade again, even over the name-brand Wahl blade.

This fits the Kenchii flash 5, incase you’re wondering. It’s sharp and I like it. I think it’ll dull quite quickly, however. I’ll update, as I am a professional pet groomer.

Fits well on my Wahl Arco Clipper
I sharpen clipper blades professionally for the past 30+ years and I purchase blades for my groomers. I can usually get a better price than some of the online stores as I deal with the manufacturers directly, but I’m glad to say that this off-brand clipper works just as well and is cheaper than what even I can get them for.The metal is a hardened alloy that will last longer between sharpenings and maintain an edge even after quality professional sharpening. This is a really nice blade and a great price for groomers, veterinarians, and even at-home pet owner grooming.
