I used this helmet during our Swift Water rescue training in the American River. It fits well and is stable on your head with minimal wiggle when fastened correctly. This is much more than a “bump cap”, this is a professional water helmet for First Responders and others in the EMS field.UPDATE: I recently started using this as my LARRO helmet and was informed it meets compliance standards… so know it’s for swiftwater AND low angle rope rescue… cool.

Best fit for reasonably priced water helmet
This was my third one, fit is a little loose but not uncomfortable and not slipping out of place. I might have given 4 stars but itâs so much better that the first two I tried

not a true XL
the XL is more of a L as the designers are probably under the impression every human’s skull is a perfect circle and not an anatomical oval. Overall, the brain bucket is lower profile than a rock climbing helmet, which is what I was going for.

Good product for the price.
I’m new to whitewater rafting and only do this about three times a season. I’ve now used the helmet twice and I think that I have at least adequate protection and a modicum of comfort with NO discomfort or inconvenience. The product is, perhaps, slightly better than it’s advertised to be. I intend to soon buy another like this. If ever I move up the scale to rivers rated more than about 3 or so, I’ll upgrade to a better helmet but I think that spending more money now wouldn’t be buying more protection.

Good helmet for the price
Iâve went down hard outside the wake multiple times while wakeboarding and this helmet actually takes most of the blow. Good price and the foam inside seems to have a strong glue on it.

Casco muy ligero y confortble. La única pega es que yo elegi talla M por tener un contorno de cabeza de 56 y me quedaba demasiado justo, por lo que hay que tener cuidado al medir y elegir talla. (en mi caso estaba en el limite).Se lo he regalado a mi cuñada que está de lo más contenta con el y yo he pedido una talla mas.

Nachdem mein erster Helm von Pro Tec (der Classic), nach guten 8 Jahren seinen Dienst getan hatte, war mir klar daà es wieder ein Pro Tec sein soll. Also habe ich den Ace Water gekauft. Ich nutze ihn als Fahrradhelm da er mir einfach super gefällt und sich abhebt von den typischen Fahrradhelmen. Die Polsterung ist nicht reiner Schaumstoff sondern eher ein glatterer, wasserabweisender Schaumstoff (ist ja logisch bei einem Ace Water). Das ist super wenn man im Regen fährt da sich diese Polsterung nicht so vollsaugt wie der normale Helmschaumstoff. Ansonsten qualitativ und vom Design her wieder 1A. Trägt sich gut und sicher und sieht lässig aus. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Arrivato come di consuetudine per Prime nei tempi. Imballo generoso, all’interno vi è la scatola del casco, che pare di quelle da espositore su di un ripiano. Contenuto, il casco e la documentazione del produttore. Il casco è semplice ma ben fatto, l’imbottitura interna in schiuma è compatta e generosa (oltre 1 cm di spessore) e sagomata con cura. Eleganti i rivetti che recano il simbolo del costruttore. Veloce da regolare e indossare. Plauso al costruttore che prevede taglie anche abbondanti, come la mia XXL (del tutto rispondente al vero).
