Bird Love
If you have pet birds in a cage then they will need a cuttlebone. My two parakeets love this one. It is a good size, low price, and comes with a mounting bracket. These last a while so no need to buy bulk. One at the right price should suffice.

Great for Tortoises! ð¢ð
I got this for my tortoise and it was super easy to take off the metal part when I used pliers (wouldn’t just come off it you were using it for a bird). She loves it! I would give you her review but I don’t speak tortoise. However, she has already munched on a bunch of it and her beak already seems to be getting better! I compared alot of these and especially since I only needed one this was the best deal I found! If she ends up needing more I will definitely order again.ð¢

Good price but arrived broken
Pretty cheap price but the packaging was damaged and the cuttlebone itself was broken into big pieces. Luckily just needed it to increase KH in my fish tank.

Grateful for a NATURAL option!
I want to clarify I do not use these for birds I just lay them in my baby tortoises enclosure. They absolutely love these ans it helps keep their beak trimmed and calcium up. THESE ARE NATURAL. So many now are not. Please be mindful when looking at cheaper or widely available options you may be getting artifical.

The hooks do not fit on my bird cage. My lovebirds do not seem to like at all. Mildew had started to form on it. Had to throw it away. Very thin.

Not just for birds
I use this item for a fish tank for providing calcium to the snails and will eventually use with shrimp also. This is a very good and cheap way to help their shells.

Help stabilize the PH in my aquarium
The PH in my aquarium kept crashing; baking soda did not seem to be helping much, but this has been keeping it more stable without raising the PH quickly. Just poured some boiling water over a few small pieces I broke off till they were no longer floating and they were ready for my tank. Added bonus is this will be a source of calcium for my ramshorn snails
