The Colorfully Pretty Bird Food
I’ve been buying the Pretty Bird Daily Select Bird Food for years now at my local pet store; however, I switched online after they stopped carrying it. I’m glad I did as it is cheaper on her than anywhere else online. I’ve been buying these healthy pellets for years now thanks to the recommendation of my veterinarian. My bird has zero problems with this seed diet.

This stuff is very, very small…
We’ve fed Pretty Bird pellets to our two cockatoos (Goffins and Eleonora) for a decade or more, so when we took in a parrotlet a few months ago I figured this would be the way to go. Unfortunately, most of these wind up in the bottom of his water bowl. He likes a bigger pellet made by ZuPreem (also purchased here on Amazon) that we feed to our Indian Ringneck and a lot less of those pellets wind up in the water.They might work out fine for you – I just wanted to share my personal experience.

Great food
This was the food my little guy was on when I bought him. I promised the lady I bought him from that I would not change his food. I am a little nervous about the dye that is in the food, but it seems to be keeping my little guy healthy. I am all and all very happy with this food.

Been feeding this to our Cockatiel for 18 years; he loves it.
This has been our primary food for our cockatiel since we got him at about 6 or 8 weeks old; he is 18 years old now, healthy, and still likes to whistle the theme song to the Andy Griffiths show 🙂 I supplement some seeds, which he likes, but this is 90% or more of his diet. I was happy to see that the expiration date on the package I received as 2 years in the future; I’ve tried the 20 lb bags to get the per pound savings, but I can only use about 15 lbs before it goes rancid. I’ll have no problem using this before it expires.

my birds love this pelleted food
I offer my birds both seeds and pelleted food. They love Pretty Bird and eat it well. I tried some of the other brands of pelleted food but my birds didn’t care for them, and I prefer to buy Pretty Bird because they don’t add sweeteners like the other major brands do.
