Squirrels like it!
We get some hungry squirrels and my daughter is obsessed with squirrels. So we bought this pack to lure them in and she can watch them through the windows. My husband accidentally ate some and he said they tasted a bit stale, but the squirrels donât seem to mind. Good value, I ordered the cheapest pack. Squirrels have no complaints so far.

Couldn’t be more pleased with these peanuts! They were tightly packed in a sturdy plastic resealable pouch (front is see-through, back is a foiled plastic). The quality of the nuts is so much better than you can find in a typical grocery store. Clean, unbroken shells, no dark, rotten, or “bad” looking ones. (Note: These are raw, unsalted, pkg size is 2 lbs. From a company in the US. They come with a warning they are not for human consumption — they are intended for squirrels/birds/wildlife). My local gang of squirrels seem extremely delighted with them so far! While these are pricier than what you could pick up at the store, the quality and packaging is so good, it’s absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely buy these again!

I feed wild birds from a feeder on my back porch, and I always keep plenty of whole (in-the-shell) peanuts available for them. Until now, I hadnât considered ordering them from Amazon, as Iâve been buying raw or roasted/unsalted peanuts at my local grocery store.Thereâs not much to say about peanuts, but these arrived fresh, with nice, crisp shells, and in much better condition than what I usually find sold in bags or bulk at the grocery store. Iâve included a photo showing some of these peanuts in a glass jar; youâll notice there are no fragments of shells mixed in with the peanuts.The local wildlife seems pleased with these peanuts, which I suppose is the ultimate test of their quality. I’m having to refill my bird feeder several times a day!One thing to consider is the price. You may want to compare the price per pound at your grocery store with that of these peanuts. In my case, these are over twice as expensive as the equivalent peanuts Iâve been purchasing locally.

The Backyard Has Never Been Busier (or Funnier)!

Ever since we started putting them out, the crows and Blue Jays have been thrilledâthey show up every morning like theyâre checking into their favorite diner. Weâve even started recognizing a few regulars!The peanuts are fresh, perfectly sized, and exactly what the birds love. And itâs not just themâsquirrels have gotten in on the action too. We feed these to our squirrels in the back yard, mixed with other critter feed. It is so funny to watch the squirrels climb into the feeder to fish these out! They seem to be very fresh; they are large in size and are a great value for what you are getting, they are the color you would expect for fresh peanuts. We just throw 4-5 in with the critter food and watch for hours as our 5-7 squirrels entertain us. I will be keeping these stocked up for my back yard babies year-round!
