Be careful when you open the package!
The worms are very much alive, and come in a cloth bag!!! I’ve ordered worms before, but they were in plastic deli type containers with tiny holes in the top! Not these! I cut off the zip tie finally, and the worms are waiting and pop out everywhere! Not a good packaging for these healthy worms! Then, they’re all over my hands and I hold my hands up over the bird feeder, but the birds are NOT interested. My husband sticks his head out the back door and says “I heard you hollering are you ok?” I feel more worms coming out of the bag and crawling down my arms and into my shirt while hollering back to my husband “Help!! Bring the hose!” And the birds are really scared now. A little later my husband is on all 4s crawling around on the patio picking up worms and I’m holding a feeder for him to put them in while I try to keep them in the bowl! Yes, all the neighbors watched the show, laughing (not at us but with us they say!) And now the birds are loving some of their fat worms! Will I buy more? Heck yeah and I’m gonna give them to my brother and tell my niece to have the camera ready when he opens them! So, birds are enjoying their worms, I know what to get my brother for his birthday, I’ve laughed more than I have in years, and my niece can share Dad’s birthday video on Tic Tok! I’ll buy more, sure, I’ve got cousins who need worms too! Lol, I just couldn’t help this, and I must admit, I thought I was a pretty darn tough country girl! I’ll ride a bull over a worms any time!ð¤£ð¤£ð¤£

Worms are extremely active and all alive. Well packaged. The worms were fresh, and lasted about a week and a half with my chicks. Excellent vendor, will order again.

Ordered 1500 mealworms; they came in a marked box in the canvas bag and egg crate above. Everybody seems to be enjoying themselves on day 2 and are molting like crazy. Only noticed a couple dead ones so far.

1st time I ordered mealworms they arrived healthy, active & in good shape. My birds devoured them! The 2nd/most recent order was not- many dead mealworms, odd colors & more die off daily. I want to make seller aware.
