What size fish tank is this filter suitable for?
This filter is recommended for small aquariums ranging from 3 to 12 gallons, effectively circulating the water and maintaining clear water quality.
Is the water flow from the filter too strong? Can small fish or shrimp adapt to it?
The water flow of the filter is adjustable, ranging from a minimum of 25–50 GPH to a maximum of approximately 95–190 LPH, making it easy for even small fish and shrimp that are sensitive to water flow to adapt.
Is the filter suitable for saltwater aquariums?
This product is primarily designed for freshwater aquariums. If used in saltwater, please ensure that the filter is cleaned regularly and be mindful of the effects of salt on metal components.
Is the filter noisy? Is it suitable for use in bedrooms or on desks?
We use a silent motor and anti-vibration design, with operating noise levels below 35 decibels. Most users report that it is quiet and stable, so you can safely place it in bedrooms, on desks, or in office.
How often should the filter cartridge be replaced? Can it be reused?
We recommend replacing the filter cartridge every 2–4 weeks. Frequency may vary depending on fish load and water quality. The cartridge can be rinsed and reused 1–2 times, but regular replacement ensures optimal filtration.

Quiet, 8 years running
I bought from the brand again because I have had a different model from the same brand for 8 years in my other tank and itâs still working. I like that this model is hidden under the rocks and doesnât take a lot of space in my tank. Most importantly, it runs really quiet.

Used or new ???????
OK when I receive this item, it was in a box that was not sealed once I opened it up then I knew it was some return or use product. Well I plug it in. Doesnât work. I want immediate refund. I donât wanna hear anything about this product, it is bad it doesnât work and it looked like it was used. You got one star so I could push it through altogether zero stars.

Not as much power as expected.
This is my second small filtration system for a round aquarium. The first one had barely zny power. This one is better, but not great.

Works great!
The original filter that came with my fish tank stopped working, so I got this one as a replacement and it works pretty well. It also came with a cartridge inside. Fish seem happy and the water looks clean. So it was a good purchase.

perfect for small spaces, buckets, and cycling water before changes
Great quality, fits in small hospital tanks or temporary bowls. Perfect for making sure your 1 gallon carrier tanks still have a filter. Surprised at how tall it can go, fit into a 2 gallon water pitcher with no issues, allowing me to cycle the water before adding it to the tank.

Nice concept but lots of flaws.
I was surprised to see that the pump could actually push water up 55mm, which is an impressive feat for such a small pump.I like the fact that they have an extension pipe connecting the pipe to the outlet/filter, and that there are clips that keep the cable tidy with enough space to be able to minimize slack. It’s nice that they thought to have a slider to adjust the pump’s power. It is at this point I have to mention a few things:1) There is no pre-filtering sponge, so the pump’s base must be buried in the gravel so that it can help reduce the amount of crud that gets into the pump. I’m concerned about this because of the potential for it to jam the pump, especially if you don’t cover it with gravel.2) They didn’t think carefully about the pipe. Instead of designing the unit so that you could connect the pump directly to outlet/filter, the pipe is required. This limits the height range from 10-13″. If you need it to be shorter, you’ll have to buy a shorter pipe of the same outside diameter.3) Although the pump’s power can be adjusted, in order to do this, you have to remove it from the base (easy to do), change the speed, and then push it back into the base. It is extremely easy to pull it out and put it in – it sits loosely in the base. The problem is if gravel somehow falls inside after you remove it, especially if it’s small enough gravel that it could be sucked into the impeller chamber and do damage. Thus, you cannot use this filter with small media without adding a barrier like loosely woven synthetic cloth that won’t break down or sponge. I would advise that it be attached to the inlet of the pump rather than on the base because of the risk of stones sliding into the base. They really should’ve located the control on the power cable outside of the tank. Imagine the aggravation if you have a very small tank and must do this with big hands!4) The outlet area has a waterfall but it also has 2 drains on either side of the base of that part which prevents the water from actually getting up to the waterfall. There’s no way to adjust or close those so it’s possible that the filter will be mostly or completely bypassed, especially as it fills with gunk.5) The filter is made with a synthetic, cotton-like substance, and there’s activated carbon trapped inside. Given #4 above, it looks like it won’t be of much use.I’m afraid that I can’t recommend this unit because there are serious flaws.

It works!
This aquarium filter is simple, but it gets the job done. Itâs a cartridge style that uses a pouch of filter media (carbon), but you can just cut a piece of aquarium sponge and use in place of the cartridge. The base has to be sitting on the bottom for it to work. It has a little plastic hook on top to keep it up against the glass. Itâs fairly quiet and low maintenance. It has been in use for a month and Iâve only had to change the water once, so pretty decent clarity.
