Keeps for dry
Seems to stabilize the unit and cause less vibrations and noise. It also catches any dripping water. Seems like it could have a taller lip, but overall it seems to work so far for not getting the floor wet.

Flimsy and not very functional.
Look at my photos. It looks nothing like they portray it. Itâs flimsy and some of the edges are flattened out. This will allow water to get everywhere if you rely on it to hold water. The value is not there when it canât be relied on to do what you need it to do.

Application issues
I canât say that I would recommend this âdrip panâ for substantial protection of floors especially wood or carpet. It is made of a very thin flimsy rubber like material and I mistakenly ordered it for a portable AC unit without realizing this important aspect of construction, my mistake for doing so. Although it is waterproof and does have a small lip around it I suppose it might be ok on a tiled floor, however, there are much better offerings on Amazon that will afford a reasonable amount of peace of mind regarding floor protection. I will probably keep it for some other use as it is well made just not practical for the intended purpose.

Since this is rubber, the edges DO NOT stand erect so if water was to leak WOULD roll right over the edge, so do not recommend. The picture shows the edges erect all around, but they are not, so the picture is a con.
