The handy scraper you didnât know you needed!
This turned out to be such a surprisingly useful tool. For the price, you honestly get great value because it saves time and effort every time I clean my birdâs cage. I never really thought about needing something like this until I tried it, but once I used it, I realized how much easier it makes the job. Birds donât exactly pick one spot to go in, and they often poop in random spots along the bars, perches, or even on the corners of the cage. Normally, cleaning that up would mean soaking things, scrubbing, and working at it for a while. With this little scraper, I can just go right in and take care of it immediately.Our bird loves to sit by the window and look outside, and when heâs back in his cage, he sometimes leaves droppings that harden quickly on the bars or on the stick perch. Before, I would have to take the perch out, soak it, and scrub it down, which could be a hassle if we were busy. Now, I can scrape it off in seconds and his cage looks fresh again. Itâs healthier for him to have a clean space and nicer for us too since it keeps everything looking and smelling better.I also like that the tool is lightweight but sturdy enough to handle dried-on messes. The hook on the end makes it simple to hang up so I donât misplace it. It feels like one of those inventions that makes you think, âWhy didnât I get this sooner?â because itâs so straightforward but solves such an annoying problem. Really great for scraping off the stuff that just won’t brush off
I got this to deal with the stuck-on droppings that won’t seem to budge even when I soak them and scrub for a long time. The best way I’ve found to use this is to scrap off the droppings while the bottom of the cage is still installed. This way the pieces just drop into the pan at the bottom for easy removal. I wouldn’t want to use this as my only tool for cleaning the cage, but it does a great job at its intended purpose.
