Is an oxygen pump necessary?
An oxygen pump isn’t mandatory. However, if you have an oxygen pump, it’s advisable to turn it on in the evening of the same day you spread the product, to achieve the better results.
How to use the pond clarifier for more severe pond conditions?
For more severe pond conditions, use the product twice a week at double the regular dosage per application. Do not exceed this increased dosage for more than one month. As the pond’s condition improves, gradually reduce the frequency of use.
How long does it take to see results?
It’s important to note that this is not an instant solution. Patience is key as it works gradually to improve your water’s condition. You can apply it by tossing it directly into the pond or mixing it with water first and then pouring it in.
Can the Pond Clarifier Treatment be used with other water treatment products?
Yes, it can. It can be used alongside our Muck Reducer. For optimal results, we recommend using the Pond Clarifier Treatment first, then waiting 48 hours before applying the Muck Reducer.

Kills the algae not the pond plants.
Worked great on the below the surface clearness. Does not touch the floating vegetation (does not say that it will). I was disappointed until I started physically removing the Duckweed from the surface and saw that the water below was clear to the bottom. I bought an herbicide for pond growth that killed the duckweed, now the pond looks better than it ever has before.

Worked good but needed aeration because of algae started growing
Used this in my 30 year old untreated pond and along with water clarifyer and blue dye and it was working good until it got real warm out and an algae bloom took over after a couple months. Put in aeration and the first picture is first day aeration was added and second picture is after 4 days.

Did Not Clear Green Water At All
I followed the directions exactly. I also followed the instructions that were sent by the seller. It has been over a month and has not cleared the green water at all. The unsolicited emails sent by seller to be patient helps to get you past the return date. I have 2 ponds for over 20 years 19 crystal clear, This July for the first time since the ponds were set up I was plagued with green water in one. All I can say is that my green water is darker now then when I ordered the product. I will not purchase again.

Best pond clarifier i’ve used.
I’ve tried at least 5 different clarifiers and this was the best yet. I’ve got a 1200 gallon pond and it gets a lot of leaves which makes the water mucky and dirty. The instructions said one packet is good for 10,000 gallons but i used an entire packet in my pond. Within 2 weeks it was crystal clear. It has stayed that way for about 2 months now. Works great.

Starting to work slowly after four bags.
I have used two bags and so far no improvement. I expected much better given the ratings and cost of this product. I intend to continue to use it and I’ll update my review accordingly. As of now, I would not buy it again or recommend it. I am upgrading this product to three stars. It’s started to make a little difference slowly. Still don’t consider the improvement worth the cost, but it’s better than nothing.

Thereâs evidently some conditions in ponds that canât be corrected.
For some reason, the product did not work on my pond, but the company was great to deal with. They gave me a complete refund and I worked with them trying different things to see if we can get it to work.
