    Answers SO many questions.
Amazing book. I have had a three decades career as human bodyworker and function movement professional. For 9 years I have been chasing my horse’s asymmetries and inability to engage her hindquarters. 9 years and untold $$$$$. The author so clearly explains the functional anatomy I now have a deep understanding of the root of my mare’s problems. If only the many farriers, chiropractors and veterinarians she has seen had read this book. NO one has “seen” her the way this book makes perfectly clear. I feel empowered to help her rather than going down the road of endless injections for issues that are peripheral and secondary to the root cause of her difficulties. We need more people like Dr Kleven. They are not teaching this level of analysis in vet schools.

A must have for horse owners
I bought this book as soon as it was available, and I absolutely love it. I’ve owned and worked with horses my entire life, but this book was still educational and SO well written. I think this is a must have book and I am so satisfied with my purchase. The layout of the book, the visuals, and the descriptions and explanations of everything are A+. Never stop learning, people. A truly great read.

    Highly recommend!
Very well written. The author explains things simply but thoroughly. There are lots of images to demonstrate what she is explaining, and she highlights significant points. Besides explaining her techniques, she also includes chapters explaining how all everything works together. Highly recommend this book!

Good book, just a little too technical for what I was looking for
This is a good book but I was looking for a little more hands on instructions. There is a lot of technical explanation which is great but it goes into a little too much detail. I just want to provide some massage techniques to help my horse. I am not interested in pursuing formal training. Very good for people interested in more of the technical language

Well written and easy to understand. Every horse owner should have a library of such informative books as this one. Our horses need to be cared for and not all of us have copious amounts of money to call a vet for every little boo-boo. I’m very 😀 with this book. We are getting through a shoulder injury using these techniques that are in this book. It’s been a long haul but I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

Introduction to Physical Therapy for Horses2. The Anatomy of the Musculoskeletal System3. Biomechanics4. The Nervous System5. Observation6. Palpation7. Massage – The Art of Healing with your hands8. Mobilizing and Stretching9. Stabilization and Strengthening10. Physical Therapy11. Rehabilitation12. Preventive Measures
