Package arrived opened and used, the test tube was cracked and I was never able to test or use this product. Better quality control is needed here, very disappointed.

Easy To Use Test Kit – Phosphate Water Quality Testing Kit: 50 Phosphate Test Kit
The “Phosphate Water Quality Testing Kit: 50 Phosphate Test Kit” is really easy to use.I have a planted aquarium and use aquarium fertilizer to keep my plants healthy and happy, but I do have to watch out for too much phosphate at times and not enough at others. I have had test kits where you have to use multiple solutions and have to measure just right, so many drops, etc to try and get an accurate reading. With these test strips, their is no guesswork and they are easy to use.The instructions may be a little confusing for some if you are not used to the various ways of testing water for certain elements. The main thing is that you need to make sure when it is time to read the results, that you place the test tube on the small piece of paper that has the blank circles on it with the graduated scale of test results right above it. You read the color by looking straight down the test tube from the top (when it is sitting on the results paper, with the stopper removed). If you still are unsure, watch the video that the manufacturer has placed with their images and descriptions.So far I am happy with the test strips and the results.

Great Quick and Easy Test Strips
While test strips never fully replicate a fully liquid testing kit. Others have mentioned that the instructions are little complicated, but I found that they were easy to follow and I was able to accurately test the water in my aquarium. The colors were easy to decipher and the test tube seals nicely and keeps the water in during the slight shaking that it requires. Overall, I would recommend it for a quick test, but stick to a more accurate digital or liquid test kit such as API’s for a better test.

I believe the item might work as expected but I cannot tell how to read it properly. Following the directions to the T even is not clear how to read the colored pads. Honestly kinda frustrating for something thatâs suppose to be an easy test.Enjoy!

Itâs a nice well Cele bottle with 50 test kits for our swimming pool. Itâs very accurate. It helps us manage the chemicals in a pool. Itâs very easy to use it provides better water quality strongly. Recommend recommended for your pool.

Convenient and easy to use strips
I ordered these to test the phosphate levels in my pool. I tend to have high phosphates at the beginning of the season after opening, and have to make a few trips to the pool store to test the levels until I get it right. The standard pool multi test strips do not have a phosphate reading, so I was excited to try these. While test strips do give a good general idea of actual reading levels, they’re not the same as using a test kit or going to the pool store for testing. However, they are very convenient and time saving once you know how to use them. These strips are very easy to use, and are a good value as you get 50 strips in the package which is plenty for more than a couple of seasons for me. I have only tried them once so far, however I was happy to see that the reading was comparable to what I received from the pool store. I’ll continue to use them, and happy to finally have a way to read my phosphate levels at home.

Needed for planted aquarium troubleshooting
I have a few planted aquariums that go through cycles of rapid plant growth, followed by poor plant growth and algae. I’ve been trouble shooting nutrients, carbon, and light, and phosphates is the one thing that I haven’t tracked yet. These strips are sensitive enough for tracking aquarium phosphate levels, and are pretty easy to use. The colors are a little close together, so can be somewhat hard to gauge if it’s in between 2 shades – I also have slight blue/green color blindness so that’s probably more of a me issue.Turns out, my aquariums are lower phosphate than I would want for the plants, and that’s probably the issue. Of course, it’s the last thing I checked! Most multi-use aquarium strips don’t have phosphate levels on them. If you are having issues with plants, these are a necessity and would have saved me a lot of time if I had tested earlier.
