Great Option for Between Full Baths
I got this because I have munchkin cat that due to her short legs and body shape, she is not able to clean herself very well. She tried, but she just couldnât reach everywhere. Like all cats, she is not a fan of water. Attempting to get her cleaned up can be a 2-person task. I usually bring her to a groomer every 12 weeks.I thought this cat shampoo would be a great option for between grooming visits. Using this does make her small nicer. It is easy to apply to her since she loves attention and touching, so that is a win. It becomes a mess since she is shedding, and her undercoat makes my hands get all covered in cat fur during the process of cleaning her.She doesnât seem to mind it and purrs during the process. You still must dry her and brush her after, but over all I think it helps to keep her clean between grooming visits.I am not sure about the science of how effective it really is but seems to work and makes her smell nice. Not that she smelled bad before. I am not sure what the smell is. But it smells nice. Almost fruity.I would recommend this for your cat. I donât think it is a replacement for never getting a full bath, but it is good for maintenance between full baths.

i was a bit iffy about the concept of this product. a waterless pet shampoo. even though we humans have dry shampoo (this is not dry though) & it’s not a crazy idea, just saying i was skeptical. u know how particular animals (& their human owners) can be. BUT my fears were allayed! this appears to work quite well.i’ve used it on my cat now a few times & it does a good job of cleaning her. well, she’s pretty clean already but u know, clean-ER, ha. it smells good, it’s easy to use. it’s like a mousse. just pump some in your hands & work it through/on their head to start with, i’d recommend, head down, most important areas first. she’s not a big fan of me using it on her paws, belly or tail, but i manage to get some going on those areas.the bottle size is a GOOD size!! it’s not insultingly small, nor hugely, hard to store big. i wouldn’t mind if it was larger by some. overall i’m quite pleased with it & think it’s a good buy & a good thing to have on hand!*i wonder if it would work if ur animal got sprayed by a skunk?? i’m really curious about that. as a kid, we went through that w/our dog a couple times, then u have to do the whole tomato juice bath & disaster mess. & i’ve been smelling skunks lately at night around here, God forbid, knock on wood. but that would be AMAZING i it worked on skunk sprays!! thanks for the good product. 🙂

This works very well to clean.
Love this. My cat is fat and can’t reach his entire back and this is great. He doesn’t’ like me to touch his back much so I just put some in my hand and do a quick rub till he runs away and it works GREAT. I actually believe after using a few times my cat didn’t mind me touching his back as much, he actually tollerates me a little longer.

Much better than going the bathtub route…
I had my daughter go ahead and use the product on the younger of our two cats. I know that all cats personalities are different so you can’t take his response as much of an indication on the quality of the product but it was kind of foamy she said and the instructions say you can either leave it in or towel it off but if you do that I’m not sure if it’s going to do less of a job and good luck getting a cat to just sit there while you let it do its job or retrieve the cat later.Overall it did seem to improve the cleanliness of the cat and slightly improve the smell I believe but she just reported that it was easy to use but in her opinion a little hard to tell the best way to use the product. Not saying the product didn’t do a good job just that it seemed like it might take a little bit of practice and using it.Without a doubt it is better than probably never cleaning your little feline friend because cats can get pretty dirty and stinky after a few years but we tend to overlook it in my experience. I got this just because I was concerned that we were never doing anything to clean them and if you’ve ever tried to give a cat an actual bath then in my experience this is significantly better than going the whole bathtub route which can and usually does lead to a little bit of blood getting drawn. I would say that this is better than the alternative of going to bathtub route unless you are lucky with a very well-mannered cat as well as better than never doing anything at all. I’ll go ahead and give it five stars unless I can come up with a reason later to back it down but I’m comfortable with five at this point in use of the product.

Great way to bathe a pet with no water. No smell.
This product is so easy to use and leaves your pet’s coat feeling clean and soft.The pump dispenser dispurses a foam that you simply rub on to your pet and comb through. We did both and it worked the same no matter which application method we used. I found that we needed about 2 to 3 pumps for our smaller cat. It all depends on your pet’s size.I appreciate that it is a quick and easy way to bathe a pet that does not appreciate water like a lot of cats and we have 4.The foam has no to very little smell which is great for those hypoallergenic animals or even humans.The bottle is sturdy and comes with a good amount for quite a few uses.

Great alternative to bathing a cat
I like this waterless shampoo. It comes out of a pump as foam. Then you rub it onto the coat of your pet (in my case, cats). Once it dries they smell better. It doesnât leave their fur sticky. Iâm not totally sure how cleansing it is. But if youâve got cats like me who freak out around any water and bathing them is out of the question without major padding and safety protection, this shampoo is awesome! The smell isnât super strong. It isnât perfumey either. Good purchase!

I ordered the product to clean my pet who was drulling saliva and blood on his chest and on his paws. It did not do the job even a the third try.
