Perfect Fountain â Quiet, Easy to Clean, and My Cats Love It!
This fountain has been a game changer for my cats. The cordless design means I can place it anywhere without worrying about wires, and the stainless steel tray is super easy to clean. It runs quietly, so even my shy cat isnât scared of it, and the 2.5L capacity means I donât have to refill constantly. The only fountains my cats use!
I have gone through a handful of fountains and my cats ignored them. This one both of my cats use all the time. It’s easy to assemble and clean, very quiet, holds about a weeks worth of water. The base holds a charge for about 2 weeks which has a sensor that turns the fountain on as something approaches it. Very cool.

Solid performance
Iâm going to be honest, I didnât think I was going to like this fountain, but the wireless pump drew me in enough to try it. Iâve had numerous fountains – different brands, different materials – over the past 10 years. Some were more expensive than this one, some were less expensive. So, as I write this review, Iâm using the experiences Iâve had with ALL of those fountains for my comparison, and Iâve had the PetLibro for about 2 months now.FIRST: Set up – The set up of this fountain is SUPER simple. The instructions are clear, but you really donât even need them. Everything is intuitive, and the fountain really only fits together one way. You canât even put the motor in backwards thanks to the notched design that makes it fit neatly in the bowl.SECOND: Operation – Full disclosure, Iâve only used the constantly on function, so I can only speak to that. It stays plugged in, so I donât use the cordless function, though I do like that itâs an option. The water flow is excellent, and it is very quiet. The lack of a window to monitor water level is what kept me from purchasing this sooner. I didnât think the the red light that notifies you when the water level is low would be noticeable enough, but it really is. And surprisingly, the motor shut off when the level is too low actually works. When operating, the fountain is VERY quiet. I donât hear any motor sound at all, and very little water sound. Refilling is quite simple – you can remove the bowl from the base, remove the top and fill it per the instructions. I know the instructions say not to just top off the water by adding from the top, but honestly, as long as you donât overfill, I donât see why you canât do that in a pinch. I have four small dogs, so we have to refill at least once a day, and it doesnât need to be rinsed out every day, so I do sometimes just top off.THIRD – and this is the kicker – CLEANING: The one thing that has always been painful about pet fountains for me is the cleaning. The taking apart and putting back together. We have always had at least two fountains, and with some of the fountains weâve had, cleaning them was a chore. Lots of parts to take apart, clean, replace the filter and put back together. This fountain is SO easy to clean. Fewer parts, easy to put back together, and because of the wireless motor, so much easier to clean without worrying about the power end of a cord getting wet while youâre struggling to take the motor apart for cleaning. This fountain cuts the cleaning time in half at least, and because of the ease of cleaning, Iâve been much better about cleaning more frequently (every two weeks as recommended). For some reason, this fountain also doesnât seem to get as gross as other fountains Iâve had get.FOURTH – Expense – The replacement filters for this are no more expensive than the filters for other fountains, and you can get them auto shipped, which is nice so you donât run out or have to remember to re-order. They are smaller than most of the other fountains filters Iâve used as well.Iâve been surprisingly impressed with this fountain, and have replaced two of my three fountains with the PetLibro so far. When that third (least used) fountain dies, it will be replaced with a PetLibro.

Best cat fountain – but with minor flaws
This is the best fountain we have owned. Itâs very quiet and really easy to clean. Other fountains tend to have cracks and crevices where gunk builds up – this one does not. The capacity is good – it lasts about one week for our two cats. So once a week I give it a quick clean and fill it back up – easy peasy.Minus one star for two reasons: 1) it randomly turns off and on sometimes, even though thereâs plenty of water in it. 2) the replacement black foam filters (not the main filter) are too small and donât stay seated (they float when water is added). I had to rinse the original filter and stick it back in. Neither of these issues are dealbreakers and overall the fountain exceeds my expectations.

A great Upgrade for our Cats
Works great and is very quite. The fountain fits the aesthetic of our home perfectly. I have kept it plugged in at all times and its been running perfectly. The cats like it and its big enough for both of our cats to drink from it at the same time. It is slightly smaller than I thought from pictures but it doesn’t affect the product quality at all. This was a huge step up in quality for us and the stainless steel is nice cause it can be cleaned easily.

Hi, I wasn’t aware I could have this refunded after use. My cats constantly tip it over, yet the round one I had never got tipped over. I only wanted this one because it can be used with no electric cord. So I bought a big pot $60 to make sure they can’t tip it over, forgetting it needs to have the sensors visible to work. So now it’s plugged back in and a total waste of the cost of the fountain and pots and plants.Please contact me if this can be refunded as it is useless to me.

Tengo 4 fuentes de diferentes marcas que usan los mismos filtros, tres afuera de la casa y una adentro, todas funcionan muy bien y sin problemas, pero tengo que tenerlas conectadas a la pared. Siempre tengo que buscar dónde poder conectarlas o buscar extensiones y eso siempre un problema con los cables.La ventaja de esta fuente es que una vez que cargas las baterÃas, la colocas donde gustes sin necesidad de tenerla conectada. Y las baterÃas se recargan rápido y duran más de un mes sin necesidad de recarga.Mis gatos ya están acostumbrados a estas fuentes, solo vieron que la puse, fueron a verla, funcionó el sensor de movimiento, salió el agua y bebieron inmediatamente. Nada de “periodo de adaptación.”Ãsta la compré para usarla en el interior de la casa.Es elegante, combina con cualquier tipo de decoración, cabe en cualquier parte, no hace nada de ruido y es muy fácil de armar e instalar.Muy buena compra.Si hay que ponerle un “pero” serÃa el precio pero el ser inalámbrica lo vale.Poder ponerla donde sea sin buscar un enchufe tiene muchas ventajas.Y quizá otra “desventaja” sea el precio de los filtros que son un poco más caros que los demás pero tampoco es mucha la diferencia.Muy recomendable.

This kitty didn’t drink before the fountain and now she drinks all the time. It is very quiet. I don’t hear it. I haven’t tried the battery function yet, but I am super pleased with the purchase and would buy again.
