Customers say
Customers find the flea and tick treatment affordable, with one noting it works as well as more expensive alternatives, and appreciate its ease of application. The effectiveness and flea control receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well and keeps fleas away, others report it didn’t work at all or didn’t get rid of fleas. Customers disagree on whether the treatment causes itching, and while some say it lasts 3 weeks well, others report it doesn’t last 4 weeks. The product leaves a white residue on fur, which customers find unappealing.

Flea saver for our pups
With two small dogs in our household – one wise old-timer and an energetic puppy – finding a reliable solution for flea and tick control has always been a priority. We decided to give PetArmor a shot, and we’re pleased to report that it has worked really well for both our dogs.Firstly, it’s worth mentioning that the packaging includes a 6-month supply of topical flea treatment, which is incredibly convenient. This means we don’t have to worry about running out and reordering frequently. The applicator is easy to use, which is a big plus for busy dog owners. Our senior dog, who has a more sensitive skin, had no adverse reactions to this treatment. We were initially concerned about this aspect, but PetArmor proved to be gentle on his skin while effectively keeping fleas and ticks at bay. It’s been a relief to see him itch-free and comfortable. Our puppy, on the other hand, tends to be quite active outdoors, so the risk of bringing fleas and ticks inside was a real concern. Thankfully, PetArmor’s formula has managed to shield him from any infestations. We’ve noticed a significant decrease in scratching and have yet to find any unwanted critters on him.

Great topical flea treatment
Works instantly on fleas. There is no smell, the dogs are comfortable with application and it takes me 3 seconds to apply, super easy to use.

Sorry to say goodbye to Pet Armor
We have used this product for roughly 7 years. It has always prevented fleas the full month. For ticks it might last three weeks tops. Usually 2-2.5 weeks. But I can pull the ticks and spray the dogs with a cheap big retail store spray and it gets the dogs through the month with very little additional effort or cost. Plus it gives me some time with the dogs and they do not mind the short cleaning and grooming. The reason for four stars is the so-so job on ticks and the fact that my last order, which was for six dogs from 5 to 92 ibs, failed miserably. They all got fleas within a week. And of course they spread everywhere very quickly. I repeated the dose within the first week and in two days the fleas were back on them. I bathed the dogs with a flea killing shampoo. I bug bombed the house twice with a product stated to kill fleas. We washed and sprayed the inside dogs bedding. I sprayed the dog houses inside and out. I sprayed the dog pens, which I use if I need to quarantine a sick or injured dog. I sprayed the yard and a solid 15 yards beyond my property line. I followed that up by spreading granules. Ultimately I was compelled to switch to another very famous and more expensive product. When I was done and the fleas had been gone for 2 weeks I had spent over $480. None of this was labor as I did all of the work myself. Of course, if you have fewer dogs, a smaller house and a smaller yard your cost will be less.My wife and I keep our house immaculately clean and she has been insufferable during this month long war against fleas. She wouldn’t allow anyone to even visit us for fear they would take fleas home with them. We will now spend the extra money for a better product because we learned the hard way that all it takes is a single failure of a flea product and it will cost us a money and WORK. To Pet Armor I say this…. You did right by us for a long time, for a fair price. Thank you for that. But one lapse in quality control was all it took for us to change labels. The drops were within date.Hopefully the more expensive drops won’t cause us to repeat this experience.

Highly Effective and Worthwhile Investment
I would highly recommend this product to other dog owners. It kills fleas effectively and comes with a 3 month supply, which is very convenient. Not only is this product effective, but it’s also easy to use and priced fairly. All in all, I believe it is a worthwhile investment for any pet owner.

Did not work even a little bit
Gave both my boys a bath, the next day after they were good & dry, o did their flea treatments. 5 days later, I was playing w/my pit & scratching his “crazy spot” to get him wound up (right where the tail joins the body) , and 4 fleas came out. I thought maybe it needs more time, maybe they’re still dying off. We had just got back from the coast & he loves to just lay in our yard, under the porch & on the beach so, I thought that may be part of the problem. 1 week later I was loving on him when, 1 flea jumped on my arm but then I managed to get 2 more off of him. My other baby has seasonal alopecia so, significantly less hair, he also has darker skin but is a red fawn color. He never seems to pick up as many, or they just don’t try to stay w/him. We give them treatments monthly but didn’t start using this brand until late June. The 1st time I excused it b/c they do like to be outside anytime I am which is at least 12 hrs a lot of time more per day. Most of the time they are chilling on the back porch as it’s cool concrete & shaded but, they do like to get a donkey roll in the grass daily. However, that has never been a problem w/the previous brand. So, I thought maybe it was a bad batch. After the 2nd order produced the same results. We will definitely be going back to the old brand.

Pet Armor vs Pet Armor PLUS
This worked okay for my two shitzu dogs. It was super stressful handling the situation with two pups and our small apartment. What seemed to be the main issue is that this treatment does not kill flee eggs. So even though it was killing off adult flees, the flee cycle wasnât being broken because if an egg would hatch they were re-infested. Pet Armor PLUS is probably better since it breaks the flee cycle by also targeting flee eggs. What worked like magic for us was Capstar capsules, Vets best flee home spray, and constant cleaning/ moping/ laundry. We got our pups flee free within a week! Hope this helped 🙂
