Pet Deluxe Interactive Cat ToyI just became a new Cat Dad this past month and have a 5-month kitten named Jacapo.Jacapo is a bundle of energy, a veritable nuclear reactor. He is always wanting to play. And so we have established a sort of play routine and it’s worked out pretty well.However, I don’t always have the time or the energy to completely fulfill my kittens play needs. Whether it’s due to my abnormal work schedule, not having enough energy, or or not being home, Jacapo is sometimes left wanting more. And because he is an indoor cat, Jacapo has to get all his exercise and hunting in the house.Just like the title says, this toy is a lot cheaper than a second kitten. And thank goodness for it because it’s wonderful.The setup was a little convoluted at first and the directions aren’t entirely clear on how to properly set it up. With that said, it’s not too difficult once you think about it and have everything laid out.Basically, you cut a length of the yarn and attach whatever toys you want onto the string and then you tie it off so that it is a large loop. Once you have that established, you feed it through the main motorized control unit and then feed it through any of the three satellite units.It’s pretty cool. How simple it really is. And it’s thoughtfully designed. From the velcro straps that allow you to anchor the satellite units as well as allowing you to use whatever length of yarn you want. It really is a versatile toy.I’m going to have to play around with the pet Deluxe interactive cat toy to figure out what is the best configuration for Jacapo. At the moment because Jacapo really enjoys running around. I’m only using one of the satellite units along with the motorized control unit. That gives him a long route to to run around and play with.It does come with the remote and it doesn’t work all the time. It’s not very intuitive. But if you can get it to work, then it does become an interactive toy for you and the kitten. You can start and stop it. Change the direction and also change the speed of the revolving string.And that brings me to some of the interesting features of this toy. You had the choice of either setting it up automatically. Where where controls the toy itself or you can use the remote. You can also change the speed of the the string. It also features a chirping sound that is supposed to mimic a bird.I like that you can customize it and I’ve already attached the toy that the kitten already enjoys playing with to the string. I like that you can change the length of the yarn and the speed that the yarn moves and you can move it around and change the configuration. It really is a cool toy.Now I’ve only had it for a day and the cat has only played with it once. So time will tell whether or not it has durability and quality. It does seem to have good build quality. The satellite units are attached to a weighted base that keeps it sort of grounded to its spot as well as having the velcro straps. And obviously if the string breaks or phrase, you can replace it. The battery to the remote weird battery that you’ll probably have to special order. You won’t be able to find it in a store. And if the motor goes on the main unit then the toy is useless.All in all this is going to be a great toy for the kitten and it’ll give me a break from having to play with him with the wand.

Great toy for busy cat mom!
My cat loves this toy! The movement and squeaky sounds instantly grab her attention, and sheâll chase it until it shuts off. Itâs great for keeping her active while Iâm working. The rechargeable battery lasts well, I charge it once every 2-3 days and it never runs out. Setup took a minute to get the rope tension right, but once itâs set, it works great. Definitely worth it for curious, playful cats!

Recommend! Keeps my cat busy and happy
This cat toy is so much fun! It was easy to set up and works smoothly. The little toy moves back and forth along the track, and my cat was instantly hookedâstaring, stalking, and then pouncing on it. Itâs a great way for her to burn off energy indoors and stay entertained when Iâm busy. The bright color and solid quality are a nice bonus. Definitely recommend it for any cat owner!

Pretty cool⦠My hunting cat loves it
I had to update this and put it down to three stars. The toy works great. But the stickies they give you to hold the anchors in place do not stick to the actual anchor they provide⦠And secondly, the remote doesnât work at all. It has a red light, but it does not do anything when I pointed towards the device and change buttons. Itâs a non-functioning remote. This is a really cool toy. I gave it four stars because the little suction cups that they give you to adhere to the bottom of the anchors, doesnât stick to rubber and thatâs what the bottom of the anchors are. I had to go to a hardware store and buy something that would actually stick and hold it in place. They should find something that will actually adhere to the rubber on the bottom because once you place it it just moves and comes off so donât even bother. Other than that I do like the unit. It works great just some failed sticky pieces that are not adequate enough. Come with it.
