FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS: Mature Guinea Pigs (over 6 months) Feed 1/8 cup pellets daily in addition to unlimited grass hay. Although Oxbow Essentials – Adult Guinea Pig Food is an excellent complete feed for guinea pigs, unlimited access to fresh grass hay should also be provided. Choose from Oxbow’s Western Timothy, Orchard, Oat or Botanical grass hays to provide additional natural fiber. Perfect for My Piggies!
Iâve tried several guinea pig food brands over the years, and this one is by far the best! My piggies absolutely love it â they run to the bowl as soon as they hear the bag rustle. The pellets are fresh, smell great, and seem to be packed with all the right nutrients, including vitamin C which is essential for guinea pig health.I’ve noticed shinier coats, more energy, and happy squeaks since switching to this food. Bonus: way less waste because they actually eat it instead of picking around it. Highly recommend for any guinea pig parent who wants the best for their little floofs!

Won’t stay to fresh if left in bag once open but you can get a container for it. These are not a soft pellet and is the perfect color. Easy to feed, good size and amount for the price. This food will help keep your piggies healthier longer, has no added stuff they should not have. Highly recommended and will only buy this.

I’m a big fan of all oxbow products, so this was my first choice when switching to a senior diet. I will say that it took my girls a bit to adjust and be willing to eat them. So I’m guessing there is a taste difference between adult and this food, as a heads-up. We switched to this formula after having a pig diagnosed with arthritis and bladder sludge. We’ve had no issues since switching and she seems much happier

My three baby piggies love this stuff. They were initially fed adult pellets but when offered these instead, they switched quickly. I think they struggled with the adult pellet because they were much bigger. These are small pellets and they don’t eat much anyway so this will last them a very long time.
