Good keeping food protected from rain
This is a nice place to put feral kitties food outside so it doesnât get wet. It was very easy to put together since it goes together with Velcro. Under normal circumstances the sturdiness would be perfect but in my case they love to crawl on top and Momma and 5 kittens are too much for the poor house to handle. It does hold all 5 kittens and Momma without crushing it. It is a very good quality so besides the kitties using it to sleep on top it was well worth the money.

This is a very cute little house to feed feral animals.. Sadly, this didn’t even have instructions to put it together.I had to look at the photograph to put it together. It’s a bunch of velvero, fairly simple i believe this should do very well.During the winter months . I would have left five stars if I had instructions

Could Use More Insulation For Cold Weather
I bought this outdoor cat feeding station to help the neighborhood strays and have been mostly pleased with it. The shelter is sturdy and waterproof, which keeps both food and water safe from rain, and itâs large enough to accommodate cats, small dogs, or even rabbits. My cats seem comfortable using it, and the design makes cleaning relatively easy. The only reason Iâm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could use a bit more insulation for colder weather, and the assembly instructions were a little confusing at first. Overall, itâs a solid, practical solution for outdoor pets.

I got this feeding station for our cat sanctuary, which focuses heavily on feral populations, and while I havenât deployed it with cats yet (itâs heading to a field colony soon), Iâve tested its performance in rain and wind. It holds up well to rain falling straight downâno leaksâbut in wind-driven rain, it doesnât offer enough coverage unless placed in a very sheltered spot, like under trees or in dense shrubs.Assembly was easy, but I wasnât impressed with the included anchors and would strongly recommend investing in sturdier stakes (like tent stakes) to secure it. Size-wise, itâs important to set expectations: this unit is small. I knew the dimensions before purchase, so Iâm not docking points for that, but realistically, itâs only suitable for one to three cats eating together and wonât meet the needs of larger colonies. I wish it were at least twice as deep and a bit taller for broader use.That said, Iâve have similarly designed heated cat houses that have held up for years, especially when placed somewhere sheltered from sun and rain. Iâd recommend this shelter with the clear caveat that buyers should carefully consider the small size and plan placement accordingly. Itâs a nice solution in the right context, but itâs not a universal fix for large-scale feral feeding.Should we observe any other important information in the field site, Iâll come update the review.
