Fast and Powerful – Fantastic haircuts in no time!
It all started with hair cuts that didn’t last and that grew out unevenly…My husband was at a loss after trying different salons and barbers for many years. We decided to try home cuts and so the journey began…I have owned the Oster A-5 which I had for many years and used to groom my horse quickly and easily, so when I saw that Oster made this clipper, I thought I would give it a try, although I was not sure if it would be powerful enough. I have tried the regular commercial and salon type clippers but have not been satisfied. The hair was choppy looking and many times the blades struggled to get through the hair.I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with these Oster clippers and I love the Funkadelic look! I clipped my husband’s hair and it was fast, powerful, quiet and got the job done nicely – it was like cutting through butter, literally! It was comfortable to hold, but the blade itself can get a little warm. The hair was evenly and perfectly cut. I used the 3 blade on the bottom and the 4 blade for the top, blending the hair perfectly and easily.I would recommend that if you want longer hair styles, you should purchase the complete set of blade guards. The guards that come with the clippers are for pretty short buzz cuts, which is fine for us. You will need a smaller clipper/groomer for the finishing details, but there is not much left to do after this clipper is through. Also, we noticed that after six weeks or more, the hair grows in nicely, evenly and he can still get away with just cleaning up the edges and sideburns. A testimony to the quality of the clippers – and the stylist too! I do highly recommend this clipper!

I bought a different color earlier this year and my buddy needed a set really bad for his barber shop, so I replaced them with these carbon fiber ones because the maroon was ugly as sin. I cannot believe the quality difference, these have been sitting on the shelf since 2009 and the build quality and cord quality is completely different! Itâs a special edition and so much better than the other ones, these fit and finish is awesome, the oil on the blades is sticky and the box is all yellow, BUY THESE!!

Professional clipper
Been a barber for 40 years have always used fast feed clippers.my attachments that I’ve always used on prior fast feeds didn’t seem to fit as well on this particular fast feed clipper. also occasionally I have it plugged into a four socket receptacle with my blow dryer and it would trip my blow dryer. Other than that it works well.

This will always be my go to clipper. Its an OG surely. Not many like a cord and i certainly understand that however this clipper has stood the test of time. No attachments is a minus however the purple magnetic guards by andis are phenomenal. This isnt exactly a powerhouse of a clipper but the power is enough to blend into most clipped lengths. The size is decent if you dont mind the cord.

Great clippers
These are great clippers. I cut my hair and beard with them once a week, and my beard is very thick and coarse. This is my second set, and I only had to buy another because my dog tripped over the cord and knocked them on the floor breaking the lever and part of the housing. The first set still worked great after many uses. 99% of the bad reviews are people who don’t understand that there are different clippers for different purposes, or people who are too lazy to make a minor adjustment. These are standard hair clippers made for cutting hair and beards. “They don’t cut short enough”. Get balding clippers. “They don’t make clean lines”. Get trimmer/edging clippers. “They came with the blades crooked”. Loosen 2 screws and move the blade plate to position and tighten. “The lever is tight” Do you want it loose so it moves while the clippers are vibrating? None of these are valid reasons for a bad review. They work well and are priced well. Happy with both purchases and will buy again if needed.

Oster The Truth
Ever since I started cutting hair I always wanted some fast feeds. These come in a smooth blue texture and are some of the quietest clippers Iâve ever used. Literally! The Fast Feeds donât take take too much hair off at one time but still have strong cutting power if that makes sense. They give a smooth blend along with nice touch up work to apply a buttery finish. Did not work Efficiently with the Attachment
Product did not work efficiently with the attachment. I use this trimmer for my dog and don’t cut her that close. It was very important that the trimmer work with the attachment and it didn’t work efficiently.

Poor quality product with even poorer customer service.The item arrived with a manufacturing defect in the blade adjustment lever which meant that the blade could not be adjusted. I reached out to the company and they expected me to ship the product at my own cost for service. They refused to send a replacement part. Simply unacceptable.I will not be buying anything in the future from a company that refuses to stand by the quality of their products and has such poor customer service.

My previous Oster Fast Feed hair clipper purchased in 2009 lasted almost 10 years of monthly haircuts before the blade became dull and the motor started rattling, so buying a new one was a no-brainer. It runs quiet and cool, and the adjustable blade-length feature is perfect for closely shaving back-of-the-neck areas. Highly recommended.
