Gave my Long Hair a Lion Cut with No Issue Whatsoever
Full disclosure, my cats are incredibly ok with anything my husband and I do to handle them. One of them has long hair and I have to shave him to stop his fur from climbing, especially around his butt.He let me shave him down without the guard and give him a lion cut. The sound and feeling of the shaver is so gentle that he wasn’t bothered by it at all and kept licking me because he liked the feeling.This never pulled his hair, buzzed his hair so low that it almost got down to his skin and it never kicked him once no matter how I pressed it onto him. I wasn’t afraid to shave very close to his “parts” and I did so since he needed that fur gone.It’s battery lasted the whole cut which took an hour or so, allowing my cat to move and rest and stopping when he wanted. The quality of the razor and everything included is great and I really don’t think you can beat the value for how much you pay.If you have cats like mine, shaving is a breeze. I feel like if you get a fussier cat relaxed/distracted enough with treats and what not, they won’t mind you shaving them with this at all.Get this shaver. It’s perfect.

Great and easy to use. Didn’t scare my cat!
I have to say that this little thing surprised the heck outta me. I have a very skittish long haired orange tabby named Marmalade and she did amazingly with this shaver. Her chest and belly fur is super long and prone to getting matted. It was becoming impossible to cut it with scissors because of how close it was to her skin. It took me all of 5 minutes to shave down the hair on her chest and stomach. It’s great that’s it’s cordless and rechargeable as well. The accessories didn’t work well for me but to be fair the knots were super close to her skin. All in all I think it’s well worth the money and saved me a whole hassle of trying to find a groomer in my city that grooms cats.

Quiet, but gets fluff-jammed
This little thing works pretty well. It’s small and isn’t very loud. My cat, who is super floofy, gets trimmed (not shaved down to skin) every few months so her collar fits better, for her rump, and grinch feet. She tolerates it well and is used to this. If your critter is fluffy, there’s a good chance it’ll jam up a bit by the blades, rather often, so you need to manually remove the floof. It doesn’t take long, but on higher-quality or larger trimmers, that’s not an issue.The battery seems good, and it’s easy to change the guards.I recommend it for folks who need a very occasional trim, but not for frequent ones.

Great little clippers for CAT grooming
Nice, rechargeable, and quiet enough not to freak my cat out. I was about to give up the idea of being able to take care of the mats myself, but these were exactly what I needed to safely remove several large mats that had accumulated on my cat’s lower back.The clippers feel nice and light in the hand, and the cordless option was key in being able to follow my cat to the floor. If you need to remove mats, I recommend distracting the cat with a bowl of fancy feast (or wet food that your pet prefers :).As for accessories, the clippers include an attractive little storage pouch, oil, a wee brush (for cleaning the clippers), and guards. Though I didn’t use the guards, I did play with them, and they appear sturdy and give you the option to adjust the length for cutting…I just needed to go all in.Overall, these were worth the money I paid and will save me lots more in the future, I imagine.

Saved me a trip to a groomer
This electric trimmer really saved my cat. She is 16 and has been having some recent health problems which caused her to not be able to bathe herself and her chest got matted from her wet food and water. I was able to easily and painlessly remove her matted fur and she didnât even mind! I think she actually enjoyed the gentle buzzing and the relief of not having the mats pulling on her skin anymore. This saved me having to fork over even MORE money to have her groomed. This little electric trimmer is a lifesaver!

it works great!!
I am so happy this worked right out of the box, itâs nice and quiet and my cat is usually so hard to groom, I was worried that she would run when I use this, but she laid down and let me, it was very gentle and Iâm actually in shock because everything scares her. so happy I was able to get the mats out from underneath her arms so easily with this tool. Took only a few minutes.

Only works for shaving the pet – not for clipping using the guides.
Nice and light, and it works great if I want to shave my pet, but none of the attached clipper guides work. I can maybe use it for a 6″ cut with the attachments before it will no longer clip the hair until the clipper is turned off, the blade guide is removed, and the hair that accumulates there is cleared out…then the guide can be put back on and another 6″ can be cut. Like I said, really great for shaving, but that’s it.

Love this little thing.
It’s light weight and fairly quiet. My cat is afraid of everything but he let me use it on him because it’s quiet enough. I bought it to cut off his dread locks and it worked perfectly. The different size clips are great and it has a built in rechargeable battery. To be fair I just got it yesterday but I love it, especially for the price.

I dont usally review things on the first use but this one worked so well I felt compelled. So we have a Maine Coon Cat … long, long fir that is always getting matts. We ve purchased other clippers that have been duds and land up clogging and pissing our big guy off. This unit was fast and even tho he was still annoyed we got the but clumps off in a hurry …. a two person job… So with great success on the first try I give this a huge 5 star rating and obviously a high recommendation.

Upon opening, I really thought I had wasted my money, but this little machine really works great on my cat who has a thick inconsistent coat (he’s old). Blade doesn’t get hot like some shavers do and it’s quiet which helps a lot in not scaring my pet.
