Customers say
Customers find the heat lamp works well for various reptiles, including tortoises and cockatiels, and appreciate its quality, noting it performs better than black light bulbs. The temperature gauge receives mixed feedback – while some find the digital thermometer accurate, others mention it’s not suitable for terrariums. Moreover, customers consider the product good value for money. However, the lifespan and sturdiness receive negative feedback, with customers reporting the bulbs burning out within two weeks and breaking within minutes of use.

Great for reptiles, a foster pig, and chickens!
I got this for our chickens when it was -30. I have a few breeds of chickens that donât do well in the cold. I got a dog crate set up out in their coop as a warming station so they could go under it to warm up without having the fire risk a normal light bulb could result in. They all loved it! I also used the extra one for our bearded dragon and a bottle fed foster pig. It provided the best heat and unlike the light bulb it allowed the pig and the bearded dragon to have the heat with a normal night and day cycle.

Very warm and good value
This keeps my reptile tanks very warm, they are not large so will fit in smaller housing bells. Only reason i am giving it a 4 star is that one of them stopped working after 3 days of use. I am returning but getting a replacement since i feel the quality is there and the price is amazing and comes with a reliable monitor.

Havenât tried the bulb yet
Just using the thermometer for now cuz I had just bought a new 100 watt, UVB/UVA/Heat bulb for them and it was not a cheap bulb lol so I did however really need a thermometer to know how close to allow the bulb to be to my turtles. They say around 90-95 degrees is ok for them and mine reads just under 90 so Ik this is at least a safe spot and wonât hurt them. Def read into stuff on how close a bulb should be. And the wattage of that bulb cuz you can hurt your turtle. 100 watt bulb should be close to 12â away from your turtle. Which is what I use for my babies 🙂 they bask in it like their in Hawaii. Weâll let ya know how the bulb bought with this thermometer does later when we use it, but the thermometer works just fine 🙂

They worked wonderfully and my baby ducks and chickens love them

Small defect
Ordered a two pack with bonus thermometer. One bulb had a defect, it works but the ceramic finish is flaking off.Still cheaper than buying one bulb locally plus I got the bonus thermometer.

Works great
I use a ceramic heat emitter for my sand boa, and wanted to get one to help keep my guinea pigs’ enclosure warm in the winter. I’ve been using these for the pigs and it’s working great! I love the ceramic heat emitters compared to traditional bulbs because they don’t output any light. They also get very hot, so I always use with a dimmer. I plan to use the second bulb for my snake when the original burns out.The thermometer was included (it was inside the box with one of the bulbs) and seems to be accurate.

Perfect for my fresh hatched chickens. Digital temp is finicky for on/off button but ceramic lamps get nice and warm, but not red hot and have been very reliable.
