A bit hard to clean
I use this under the perch where my parakeet eats her fruit because she’s always dropping pieces then looking for them. Works perfectly for that! But, since the wood isn’t really sealed, it’s hard to clean and always looks dirty. Doesn’t bother my bird at all, just me.

Missing 2 wing nuts
There are 3 perches and each perch should have 2 wing nuts, mine was missing 2 wing nuts, only received 4 instead of 6, so I canât use all 3 perches at the same time. Disappointed

I use these in my chinchilla enclosure, it has been a couple of months now and they are sturdy and working great! Will definitely be repurchasing.

I have 4 cockatiels and one of them is 23 years old. I noticed that he was starting to show his age a little and is less active than he used to be, although he is still using the perches and eating/drinking fine. I decided to order these platforms to give him (and the other 3 birds) a flat surface above floor level to sit/eat on if he wants to. I have put 2 of the platforms in the cage at the highest perch level, to enable him to roost at night on them if he wants to, although he still prefers the perches at the moment. I have put one of the platforms very slightly lower next to one of the perches, so that the birds can step down onto it from the perch. I have put a small food bowl and cuttlefish next to the platform to encourage them to use it and so far (once their suspicion had passed !) they have all been using it and eating the food/cuttlefish on the platform. The platforms are an excellent size and came with all the washers and nuts present and correct ! They are easy to fit and very sturdy once in place. I am very happy with my purchase and so are the birds. Highly recommended !
