Surprised at such a difference!
My cat has always been a sweetheart. But within the last few months her behavior changed. She was agitated and would get upset with me when I pet her more than a few times, sometimes even lightly biting me. Sheâd make this noise like she wasnât happy about it, but she needed to do it. Eventually she started peeing on the bed, and she had never done this before.The vet told me, after tests, that she was dealing with some inflammation from stress and seemed to have some pain in her hips. My cat is barely, technically, a senior cat, and has slowed down the last year or so, and eats and drinks somewhat less than she used to. When the vet told me to get this medicine, I was not convinced it would do much.Within a week she stopped peeing on the bed and within two she stopped biting me when I pet her, and my sweet tempered lovely was back! We even felt secure enough to get a new kitten, and she feels up to playing chase with him (happy engaged tail, not annoyance or dominance going on, no worries). She plays fetch again! Iâm really happy this was able to help; I was really not sure what else to do to make her feel better, and it hurt knowing something was wrong and making a cat this sweet-tempered act out and lash out. We have more good years ahead and Iâm so happy and thankful for it.

Apparently doesn’t taste bad
I’ve been giving this to our elderly cat daily for a while after the vet’s recommendation. I used to open the capsule and mix it on the food, but in ever-expanding tests of laziness I sprinkled it and then just dropped the capsule on top. Boris cronches on it without issue – never leaves it behind. Must either taste good in some way or be kind of like tofu where it picks up the neighboring flavors. I don’t know if it’s helped his pain, but he hasn’t had a wailing pain episode since he started. So… he’ll keep getting it. It’s not that expensive and if it’s not a struggle, then there’s no reason not to continue.

Helps arthritic cats feel young again
Vet tech recommended this for my 17yo senior cat. I see a big difference in the way he moves when he’s on it. He even started getting back in the top of his cat tree 🙂 I open the capsules and dump them in his wet food with some water and fortiflora to make a disgusting cat soup that he and his sister love. Well worth the cost.

I sprinkle on wet soupy cat food, mine eat it no problem!
Both my cats are picky but they eat this in their wet food every day. The wet food I use I put a lot of water in so it is very soupy, then I sprinkle one of these on top in each bowl. It floats but they donât seem to mind and drink it with the watered down Delectables packet. Been using it for 2 years now and I have to say I donât hear their bones cracking nearly as much or as loudly especially when they stretch after napping.

Worked great for my elderly cat. She was able to move better. Easy to open up caps and sprinkle on food.
