Customers say
Customers report that the supplement works wonders for their dogs and helps slow the progression of arthritis. Moreover, the product improves mobility and customers find it well worth the price. They appreciate that their dogs eat it with no problem, and one customer mentions their dog becomes more active. However, the gastrointestinal effectiveness receives mixed reviews.

Really happy with this supplement for my dog
I’ve been really happy with this joint health supplement. It’s easy to serve and my dog seems to like it. The fact that it’s backed by science and veterinarian recommended makes me trust it more. Plus, the high-quality ingredients and support for overall wellness are great. Definitely a good choice for my dog’s health.

Recommend recommended by veterinarians for my dogs
Recommended by my veterinarian for older dogs. Can open the capsules and sprinkle the contents on the food. Would absolutely recommend.

Start EARLY
Start before damage is done. Hip problems are a tragedy.

This stuff works wonders for my German Shepherd (note correct …
This stuff works wonders for my German Shepherd (note correct spelling, all you GSD owners who spell it Shepard, Shephard, etc, hee hee)–I had to put peanut butter on the chewable ones, so cheaper to get these and use the peanut butter once again. This has helped his arthritis, no doubt about it, he is spry for a nine year old guy

seem to be helping my dog (and suitable for dogs with food allergies and intolerances)
My poor dog. She has torn ligaments in BOTH knees and she has eosinophilic inflammatory bowel disease and some elevated liver enzymes. These last two conditions severely limit the options for knee recovery. We are doing laser treatments and I bought a ramp for her to go up and down stairs and she is getting tramadol for the pain, but my vet suggested a joint supplement as well. (Plus, she is a large breed dog so a joint supplement is a good idea in the first place.)Anyway, she’s been on Cosequin DS for a little over a month and she is doing better. I’m sure a lot of things are assisting the recovery, but I am happy with the effects of this supplement. My dog is having an easier time getting up and down and is putting more weight on her legs. (Fingers crossed we can start doggie physical therapy soon.)The other important thing is that she is not having any adverse gastrointestinal reactions to this product. Even the smallest thing can set her off (she is on expensive prescription food). But she’s been tolerating this and still has a good appetite, firm stools, etc. So if your dog has food allergies or intolerances, you can still get the benefits of a joint supplement. Please note: I am giving this to a full-grown Rottweiler, so I can basically just shove pills into the back of her mouth and she will swallow them. (Since she can’t have treats or Pill Pockets.) I am not sure how easy it would be to give this to a smaller dog.

Extend your dogs mobility.
I have had dogs all my life. Specifically, Shiba Inuâs. As dogs age their joints tend to be less flexible. This product and this specific brand will extend your dogs mobility and provide comfort for aging dogs. I am in my late 60âs and also use a joint supplement of the same brand. I know it works and how? Because I had stopped using this supplement for a month or so and progressively I could feel stiffness setting in. Itâs pricy I know, but well worth it.

7-year-old American rat terrier with hip surgery.
Our American rat terrier required hip surgery for something I am told happens to them fairly commonly, the bones in her left hip died inside her. The surgery left her with extra efforts required to run or jump up, and quite a good limp. First time I gave her a one pill dose, she was happy running around grabbing toys. She knows the word medicine, I asked her if the medicine felt good then she communicated best she could that she was thankful. We are not yet long-term users, if it doesn’t hang in there I will get back and tell you but as for now I am very pleased even though it’s expensive…

Delivery of the product.
We have been using this product for our German shepherd for many years. She started limping when she was about 2 yrs old. We have been using it for about 6 yrs now. It works great and no more limping. My only complaint I have is not about the product but about the delivery of the product. The product was delivered by someone in a white sedan. They pulled into our circle drive, rolled down the window, and through it out by the flower bed. Iâm glad it was not breakable. This person should not be delivering if thatâs how they treat the packages. My husband was working in the office and watched it all on the cameras.

Works as expected. Beware tho: they are pills; not chewable. We give the pill with peanut butter mixed with her food. When it’ll be time to buy more, I’m going to look for chewable options.
