Barely works for my 4yr old RES
I adopted a Red-Eared Slider from a friend, and I’ve had a hard time finding things that are big enough for her, and this one barely fits. She would prefer a hide to sleep in, though so far she’s still getting used to seeing this in her pond, so I’m still not sure she’ll use it. She can also move it pretty easily since she’s a big gal.This is a decently built cave that will probably work for most smaller reptiles, like the ones other users have shown. I wish it wasn’t sloped so much in the back, but it’s met my expectations per the description. It’s the largest one I can find for the price. Durability seems solid.5 stars for quality build. May or may not work for your turtle.**Recommend not getting a RES without doing plenty of research. She’s a sweetie, but she’s also big, very boisterous, itching for adventure for about 1/3 of her day, and is costing more in the long run than other species might. She would definitely live her best life in an outdoor enclosure with space to roam. (Theyâre also invasive. Again: research!!)She is pictured next to the hide and waterfall she came with. (From Petsmart’s Thrive. Helps with scale if you have one. I kept it because it’s heavy enough for her to use to reach her basking spot without sliding too much. I don’t use it as a primary filter. It’s modified with a bag of zeolite blend to help with water clarity, which it does nicely.)

Heavier than expected which is a positive. First one arrived split in half. Got a replacement the next day, which arrived perfect.

Good hidey-hole for reptiles
Exactly what I ordered and great price. Perfect for my snakes to hide in and very durable. Its not super easy to clean with all the grooves in the rock but if you take it with a hose and a scrubber then you’ll get it eventually. The color doesn’t fade either. Overall its a good hide-away for reptiles

Tortoise loves it
The first one I ordered came broken into several pieces but was replaced within a few days with no hassle. The new one looks great and is pretty big my 1 year old tortoise loves it. It is a bit heavy but overall is great.

My Dragon LOVES It!
Itâs light but sturdy and easy to clean. The inside is smooth. Plenty of room for my beardie to curl up in or stretch out over the top.
