Birds love it!
The birds up here in the Pacific Northwest love this mix, and it leaves a lot less mess than the previous seed which I used. This one has big peanut chunks as well.

Squirrels don’t like this
The birds have been eating these seeds and the squirrels finally left this feeder alone.

NO SQUIRREL MESS BIRD SEED
I especially like that the squirrels don’t like the bird seed and don’t tip over the feeder spilling the seed so they can enjoy a seed feast. I gave this a 4 rating because the cardinals and wrens don’t eat this brand of seed as fast as the seed previously purchased at the wild bird feed store. The seeds are a bit larger, so they do not easily fall out of the cylinder bird seed holder onto the ground; this is a definite plus. I do have a small tray attached to the bottom of the metal cylinder to catch seeds as birds feed. I will buy again and recommend.

Highly effective at keeping the squirrels away!
I have tried many bird seed products that promised to keep the squirrels away, and none of them worked until I found this one. I have a bird feeder with a camera, so it makes it easy to monitor if/when any critters come to eat. The squirrels used to park themselves there for 30-60 minutes straight and gorge themselves on the seed. Now, if I see one, they come and go within seconds of nibbling on some of this seed. And word must be getting around, because in the past few weeks, there was only one 10-second video of a squirrel. And the birds love it! Definitely worth the money to not have to keep replenishing seed that’s been ravaged by those gray buggers!

Spicy squirrels
I think this is a great seed mix. The idea that it may deter squirrels is cute. I think the squirrels in my area like spicy things because they are eating the seeds like crazy.

Squirrel B Gon
It keeps the squirrels away, which is why I bought it.

Oregon squirrels love it!
Unfortunately the Oregon squirrels love it in my camera bird feeder on my front deck. Iâve even tried adding more cayenne pepper and chili powder. They have to run up about 15 steps and around the house from the backyard feeders where for years they have had access to several hanging feeders.
