Solid Filter, Would Recommend
This NICREW filter is pretty decent. It’s small and doesn’t take up much space in my tank, which I like (I have a betta named Bubbles, she loves it). The filter does its job well enough, keeping the water clean and clear. I haven’t had any issues with the flow being too strong or anything, though sometimes I wish it was just a LITTLE stronger, you know? Anyway, it’s easy to set up and use. (I accidentally put the sponge in backwards at first, but it still worked fine). It came with everything I needed, so no complaints there.Overall, this filter is great for small tanks like mine. The adjustable flow is a nice feature too, although I don’t really mess with it much. And hey, if you need to clean the media, it’s super easy and quick to do. You can’t beat that! Definitely would recommend this one to anyone looking for a reliable and quiet filter for their small aquarium.

This tiny filter packs a punch. Itâs quiet and efficient. I love that the flow dial comes off for thorough easy cleaning of all parts. There are also replacement filters available. Looks good and replaced one that was much lower quality.

Decent Aquarium Filter
It’s very quiet and runs well. I only wish it was a tad bit more wider to fit snuggly on the rim of the aquarium, but overall, pleased. And love that you can control the flow

It is small, quiet and works well. However, mine just stopped working after only 8 months. I always clean it well so I quite disappointed. Only bought another one because I donât want to waste all of the filter cartridges I still have. â¹ï¸

Small yet efficient
Itâs surprising strong at filtering my 5 gallon. Pretty good control speed too. It kinda feels like a toy however it shouldnât break since you arenât going to be fiddling with it much other than a little wipe down.This is very tiny so Iâd say 5 gallon tank is the limit, with some plants to help the bio load.

works great and very quiet
Great small aquarium pump. I have a small 2.5 gallon tank with 2 small Dwarf African Frogs and the pump that came with the tank stopped working. I bought this pump and it’s great! The pump was very easy to install, although it did come with well written directions. It’s very quiet, I have it at work right behind my desk and I can’t even hear the pump…only a little water fall. I am so happy to have found this. I will purchase another for my tank at home when the time comes. Worth the small amount of money.

Modify to fit rimmed tanks
**READ IF YOU HAVE A RIMMED TANK** Fantastic and quiet, I love be the adjustable flow rate valve for my betta and the very small footprint of it. Customizable media use as well. I had to modify my tank to get this to fit though, it doesn’t fit in rimmed tanks. I have a small 2.5 gallon rimmed tank and had to Dremel out the inner lip of my tank rim which was quick and simple and made this fit absolutely perfectly. Just note that you can make this work but you will need to modify and Dremel out a channel, only that inner ledge is safe to remove and it will not affect the structural integrity, and you’ll be good to go.

Tiny and quiet! Perfect for my bedroom 3.5gal tank. Water flow is adjustable and i have it in low. No noise at all. My aquarium was a bit milky and it cleared up after a day of installation

This product is one of the worst products I have bought. If you need my evaluation, I will give it a bad evaluation because it broke down in the first week and when I started using the product, it was very hot. I do not advise people to buy it and I advise them to buy any other product.

Sicuramente un buon prodotto vista la compattezza. Struttura adeguata al costo e volume filtrante indicato per acquari non oltre ai 15-20 litri poco popolati. Direi un buon filtrino per Betta. Unica cosa, forse per mia sfortuna il regolatore di flusso lascia entrare molte bolle d’aria che determinano una rumorosità che, altrimenti, non ci sarebbe. 4 stelle dolo per questo motivo.Personalmente non usola cartuccia fornita che, come sempre su questi prodotti, offre un filtraggio puramente meccanico. Preferisco riempire il vano di materiale per il supporto batterico.

Der Filter nimmt, besonders in sehr kleinen Aquarien, kaum Platz weg, da man ja nur ein Röhrchen im Becken hat. Bei mir läuft er in einem 12l Garnelenbecken. Er ist recht leise, wenn er richtig sitzt. Das ist aber problemlos hinzubekommen und ich höre den Filter nicht.Die Reinigung ist auch recht schnell erledigt und nicht sehr oft nötig. Zudem kann man alles gut auseinander nehmen. Nur das Antriebsrad ist recht schwer zu erreichen.Zum Start und nach dem Auswaschen der Filtermedien muss Wasser in den Filter eingefüllt werden. Darauf wird extra hingewiesen. Dann ist er kurz laut, was sich aber innerhalb von einer Minute gibt.Auf einen ausreichend hohen Wasserstand im Becken sollte geachtet werden, besonders wenn Katzen das Becken gern als Trinkbrunnen nutzen. ;-)Lediglich der Vorfilterschwamm am Ansaugrohr scheint mir für frischgeschlüpften Garnelen-Nachwuchs etwas zu grob. Ich bin da allerdings auch sehr vorsichtig. (Für ausgewachsene Zwerggarnelenen ist er völlig ok.) Hier kann man sich aber auch mit einem Stück Feinstrumpf behelfen oder schneidet sich einen feineren Schwamm zu recht, zumindest wenn Nachwuchs in Sicht ist und da sind meine Garnelen gerade besonders fleiÃig.Der Stromverbrauch ist gering. Das Filtermedium auf einem Plastikteil läuft bei mir seit fast 2 Monaten. Einen monatlichen Wechsel halte ich für etwas übertrieben, besonders wenn man ihn regelmäÃig auswäscht. Ich plane diesen durch Filterschwamm und Filterwatte künftig zu ersetzen, da ich es nicht mag ständig Filterkartuschen kaufen zu müssen. Obwohl der Preis für 5 Stück bei derzeit 9,99 liegt, was dann hier für ein Jahr reichen würde.Dass das Wasser in einem breiten Mini-Wasserfall zurück ins Becken geht, finde ich hübsch und nützlich, um das Wasser mit Sauerstoff anzureichern.Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Filter sehr zufrieden und empfehle ihn für kleine Becken gern weiter.
