Refills for the great nicrew magi mini and 200
What can I say, I love my Nicrew magic mini and this has all the refills. These are the refills for the mini and magi 200 models. The course sponge filter gets filled up within 2~3 week. The sponges are reusable. Just rinse with tap water. I was blown away how only one Betta fish can really make a mess and fill the sponge with poo only two weeks. I do like a fine sponge filter to clean more and I finds that a Fluval AC30 sponge filter cut down with a razor blade make a nice upgrade. Inside the kit, you get two spare sponges and four media canisters. I recommend making your own media blends with the included carbon marking a 50-50 carbon and zeolite mix. If you really wanna get fancy, I recommend using seachem purigen and creating your own Resin cartridge for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate filteration. You can buy a premix of all these medias on Amazon pretty easy. Itâs been working out pretty well for me. Make sure you rinse out your media after putting in the media canister.
