Works as it should. Have had for quite a while and it proven stable every time. Iâve never had overheating issues when connected either. Fits snugly into the battery pocket.

If you need to use your camera for a long time, this is a great solution
Because of this dummy battery I no longer even worry about the battery life on my camera. The only worry now is if it overheats so stay in a cool area. I use a battery brick and I just keep it in my shirt pocket and literally means as long as that brick has charge I don’t run out of battery. This is actually quite nice, especially when traveling

I bought this with Neewer V-mount battery. It works very well and it’s a life saver. A coil cable is a A+ and great design for cable management. No more worrying about changing the batteries during the shoots.

Surprisingly Works with Nikon Z6III Rig – NEEWER D Tap to EN-EL15
I am frankly surprised. I wasn’t too sure if this NEEWER D Tap to EN-EL15 will work with my Nikon Z6III – as I read many YouTubers say (yes I know, they say wrong things very often) that this kind of products don’t work with Nikon cameras in general, or not with Z6 III – I have a large-ish rig I built with Smallrig and Tilta products and I wanted to have a solution to keep going without replacing a battery in the middle of a gig.Here comes NEEWER D Tap to EN-EL15. It shows that the battery is low in the indicator of Nikon Z6III after, say 4 hours of shooting, but my Neewer V-Mount battery still shows like 70% of power remaining. So it can keep going after that. I didn’t test how long the battery can keep going, but it seems like it’s working. So it’s a great product so far! I’ll test more for my food videography gigs in the future. Neewer is great. They are making good products for good pricing.

Did not work with my Sony A74/A7IVI have 4 different battery packs that have high powered USB-C outage. I tested them all and they turned on and the camera operated. As soon as I pressed the shutter the camera locked up and froze. You could hear a ticking sound coming from the camera that was not there with a regular battery.I had to turn off the camera and unplug from the power supply and plug it back in to get it functioning again. The connection felt loose and insecure to the power source. I’m not sure if I received a bad copy.Also the battery door is not able to close while using this so that’s slightly concerning.

I’m using this with my Canon R6. It’s my second attempt at a dummy battery with D-Tap connector to a V-mount battery. This one from Neewer works correctly without the R6 reporting any issues. My first go at a dummy battery was from SmallRig and every time I powered the camera on, I had to remove and re-insert the SmallRig dummy battery because the R6 reported a low battery. Drove me crazy. I do not have this issue with the Neewer dummy battery, all else being equal. Maybe my SmallRig dummy battery was defective but life it too short and this Neewer product is quite a bit cheaper and of great quality IMO.
