These are great. It’s a scam that they only come one to a package for $35 each, though. $70 for a pair of armrest protectors is a lot of money. That said, they do last about three years (with two cats who use them daily) and protect the couch decently enough.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:So far so good, we have not had them long but they look good and is lerfect for protecting the sides of couch if your needing too from cerious cats. Only down fall is it isnt long enough to cover entire side of our priticular couch. but, other than that. I eould recommend trying out!Â

Wish I had found these months ago
My cats, like every other cat, like to use the arms of the couch as a scratching post both on the front/sides and on top. Despite providing scratching posts and cardboard scratchers and keeping their nails trimmed, the couch was starting to get destroyed.It was a bit confusing to wrap and the fit isn’t snug, but I also didn’t measure and hoped for the best. It’s stayed on nicely and more importantly covers the top of the arm of the couch. The cats have fully enjoyed scratching this and it completely protects the areas it covers due to the thickness. Had I gotten these after getting the couch, the arms would still be in perfect condition, but since I didn’t, the added benefit is that this covers up the damage that’s already there.I was worried the beige sisal would stand out too much, but it doesn’t. The gray color is a different shade than the couch, but that’s also not obvious. I’m very pleased with how this product is working.

Peace Reigns!
So far, so good. Got it yesterday and immediately installed it on the side of our loveseat where our cat typically scratches. He took to it immediately! Definite furniture saver! I do wish the fabric edges and parts were a more neutral color but the grey is ok. Also, our loveseat side is wider that the protector. Solved that by reinstalling a couple of the clear plastic sheets we had there previously. He likes to stretch up so the wraparound the arm is perfect for that as well as him just scratching the top of the chair arm. Now we donât have to yell at him to quit scratching that loveseat! He has mostly ignored scratching posts and other objects that were designed to provide scratching spots, so if this works out in the long run itâs beautiful! This house is being redecorated for the care and convenience of the cat. Sound familiar?? :-)Update! Almost two months in and he (and we) are still loving it. It is holding up very well against multiple assaults throughout the day!Another update! Two years! It is starting to show signs of wear but is still going strong. When I look at it it is knowing that the side of the loveseat would have shredded and ruined by now if not for this cover. Still lovinâ it!

Worth it!
Trial and error with putting this baby on my couch. I really wish they had a tan option because the Grey sticks out like a sore thumb but it works like a charm when you figure out how to put it on bc the instructions are not the best. I will say though the velcro is no joke…super strong but the strings that are supposed to wrap around the bottom of the legs dont stay on. They slide down but it still stays put so not worth taking away a star for.

This is the best concept ever to save your couch corner from your friendly felines with awful scratch habits. However. Itâs made for SKINNY couch arms. Mines an L shaped sectional with wider arms. It does not fit at all. Even if it were skinnier, idk how this is supposed to work. The velcro tabs arenât as depicted and itâs very confusing to put together. Iâm probably going to pin it to my couch. Even though itâs rigged up it serves its purpose. But since it doesnât fit as advertised (yes I measured) and the Velcroâs not as pictured in knocking off two stars.

My cats Love this thing!!
When pulling this out of the package, I was a bit skeptical that it would work. However, I am pleasantly surprised. I bought a new couch and spent a couple of weeks swatting the cats away until I found a solution for their scratching needs. This did the trick!!! Not only that, they LOVE it! I LOVE it! They come up to the corner of the couch, and instead of being the couch, it’s this lovely scratch pad and it deters them from scratching anywhere else. It also stays right where it needs the be and the little pocket side on the inside is very convenient. I highly recommend this product if you are trying to protect your couch!

Ineffective and poorly made
This product was a disappointment from the start. First, it required assembly and the instructions were unclear. Second, the velcro ripped off a piece during installation, so we had a half-working scratch guard. The other side had one of the velcro pieces that affixed to the sofa leg break off. Lastly, the way it attaches to the legs of the sofa leaves enough room for the cat to crawl between. Now he scratches even more from his little makeshift scratch cave, and we have to slowly squeeze him out from between the sofa and scratcher like the last bit of toothpaste.

Unsere Katzen haben direkt neugierig daran geschnüffelt und es direkt mit ihren Tatzen in Beschlag genommen.Das Material ist stabil und hält wegen des Klettverschlusses und der Anbringung an den verschiedenen Ecken und SofafüÃen auch wilderen Kratzattacken stand. Das Anbringung war super einfach, eine Anleitung lag dem Paket mit bei. Was uns an dem Kratzschutz zudem gut gefällt, ist seine Optik, die gut zu unserer Wohnungseinrichtung und dem Sofa passt.Ein Bonus ist das Aufbewahrungsfach, wo jetzt auch unsere Fernbedienung immer einen Platz findet. Diese geht hier im Haushalt nämlich leicht mal verloren.Die Reinigung ist auch einfach, da man den Sofaschutz lediglich mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen muss. Alles in allem sind wir happy mit dem Ergebnis.
