My kids LOVE these! They are so excited to take their vitamins! I agree with many of the other posts – to me, these do taste horrible! I hate the taste of fish and anything fishy and these do taste as if they have fish in them, but my kids have never tasted fish (we’re vegetarians) or cod liver oil or anything like it, and they love these. They taste like candy to them. And they love the animal shapes, always telling me which animals they want to eat. So don’t worry if you don’t like them, most likely, your kids will!

Dissapointing: Horrific Flavor
I really wanted this product to work out for my daughter (age five). She loves taking the vitamins that have been prescribed by our pediatrician and she never had a problem taking the liquid vitamins that we administered to her when she was a baby. I know the value of DHA (I myself take a huge dose of fish oil daily), particularly for children’s growing, malleable minds.Unfortunately, though, these pills are odious. I’m not just relying on my daughter’s assessment; I also tried a few pills. It’s hard to put into words what the flavor was like, but if pressed I would say that they tasted like exceptionally old, dried fish that has been weakly masked by a cloying fake-cherry flavor. Also, I’m not speaking as someone who is biased against fish: I love fish and even secretly enjoy the salmon belches that my fish oil pills cause (I think of them as “bonus fish”). Honestly, though, these are beyond unpalatable, they are downright revolting.I can’t recommend another DHA product for your children — I myself am still shopping around — but I would urge you to avoid these vitamins. Chances are they will just end up in the rubbish bin.

Daughters like them, hard to find Children’s DHA
Product tasted strange to me, but my daughters don’t mind it. I wish the DHA was higher, but this is a surprisingly slim category for children. I don’t give them gummies and the other fish oils are a strange hard capsule that shoots goo out. We use Nature’s Plus Gold multi for them, so I trust this brand. Wish serving size was 1 or 2, not 3.Would recommend if you don’t want to use gummies and your children can tolerate the taste.
