How does HoneyCure work?
Manuka honey is the only honey to be scientifically studied and proven to be a medical grade healing tool for three main reasons:
There is a natural presence of methylglyoxal (MGO) and hydrogen peroxide Blended with holistic essential oils, it delivers an anti-inflammatory effect, providing a stable and pain-free environment for the wound to heal The sugar present in Manuka honey naturally absorbs fluid from the wound, allowing it to drain and help heal
HoneyCure is a great homeopathic product that can be applied as soon as your pet is hurt.
A wound’s ability to heal is greatly influenced by what you do first and what you do at home.
HoneyCure is an ointment that can be easily applied to help create an appropriate healing environment for optimal wound improvement. You may see improvement within three days of using HoneyCure.
HoneyCure helps relieve:

Burns
Helps soothe and protect inflamed skin, promoting healthy healing while moisturizing the wound.

Scrapes and Cuts
Protect abraded and vulnerable skin with a natural honey barrier that helps reduce scarring.

Bites
HoneyCure naturally pulls dirt, debris, and microbes out of the wound site, making for cleaner, easier, and more effective healing.

Hot Spots
Helps to soothe and protect skin while promoting a healthy recovery.

Licking Discouraged
HoneyCure is made from a blend of Manuka honey and therapeutic essential oils. Our unique formula discourages your pet from licking, scratching, or biting the affected area because of its unappealing taste and odor. HoneyCure is not intended to be consumed, but in case your animal does lick their wound, it is non-toxic.

Benefits of Wet Wound Healing
Applying HoneyCure and a bandage to your animal’s wound immediately after an injury promotes wet wound healing. Wet wound healing is when a wound is kept moist during the healing process. The moist protective barrier allows your pet’s body to supply it with oxygen-rich blood. This supply encourages cells to regenerate naturally, preventing inflammation and encouraging excellent skin regeneration.

Do you believe in magic? You will after using this!
This stuff is amazing! I found it after my cat licked her arm so much she created a large sore the entire length of her leg. I started using this and within days I saw major improvement. After a week and a half it was pretty much completely healed. Iâm a dog groomer and Iâve worked in veterinary settings. The vets I know highly recommend this and use it in their practices. As a pet professional myself with over 25 years experience this stuff is hands down the best. Would recommend to anyone! Some times the tube gets a little clogged but just stick a toothpick in the hole and it will unclog.

Stickiness causes bald patches
This definitely helped heal the sore on my catâs skin, but because of how sticky it is, it stuck to his fur and pulled it off and his bald spot around the sore I got this to treat is now way bigger than it was to begin with.

excellent at healing, but consider carefully if you are using for indoor pets
i have edited my review up several stars because this ointment worked so brilliantly. this healed my dog’s wounds VERY well and VERY quickly, it’s INCREDIBLY effective — but we had to apply it in quite small amounts. it’s sticky, it’s a bit grainy, it doesn’t really absorb into the skin, and the smell is atrocious. it smells like the vet section of a feed store — which is fine, of course, if you’re using this in a barn, but you might not want the smell all over the house. (this is no doubt perfect for your herd of cows. or it’s surely awesome if you have an elephant, or a llama — but you probably need to use it sparingly and judiciously for a housepet.)

Works fast
Manuka is already known for its healing property so this ointment I knew was going to be great in addition to based off of the reviews. So I have been struggling getting my cat’s wounds to heal because he keeps getting at them so once I found the right cone/cover preventative. I started back using this ointment and within two to three days the wounds were healing but unfortunately my cat kept getting to them so I had to keep starting the process over LOL, but eventually we got to a point to where I was able to mitigate him being able to get to the wounds for it to finally heal but the ointment works wonders. Id say for fresh abrasive wounds thst have a little bleeding, if you clean and apply this within 24 hours it will have thar first healing stage already. It works very quickly. Will be getting more.Last thing that I will mention is that it can get messy. The ointment has a tendency to solidify and once it’s applied to the warm skin it kind of melts and starts running so you just have to be strategic about how much you apply and where you apply it. You may or may not have to make sure it’s at room temperature, I noticed sometimes it will be very solid and I couldn’t really spread it on the wound so make sure it’s at room temperature but not too warm because you don’t want the ointment to be very runny.

Good for minor sores and cuts
Can’t rate if it’s good or bad be applying it once a day it takes time for sores to heal it’s thick and that helps to stay in place so far it look good hope it heals I like it so far small cuts I do reach amend

Good for all your pets!
Bought this for my adventurist puppy, however I just had to use it on my cat who apparently got into a scrape of some kind and has a wound on his face. Easy to use and he didn’t baulk with the application and it’s healing well.
