They have been sourced, washed, and packaged by our family owned business in the USA. Perfect for Aquariums and Reptile enclosures. Create caves, cliffs, basking areas, berms, water falls and walls in your aquarium, terrarium, paludarium, vivarium or miniature garden. These stones are easy to incorporate into your tank or enclosure and pair beautifully with our larger stones and smaller gravel to give a more realistic look to your “Small World”. Thoroughly rinse all stones before placing in your habitat. Absolutely no coatings on this or any of our stone.
100% natural stone that is safe for your aquarium and has been sourced, washed, and packaged by our family owned business in the USA. The color is a matte slate grey with a hint of blue. Each package is a mix of stone from 1 to 3 inches (some stones may be slightly above or below this range).
AQUARIUMS – Ideal for aquascaping planted, fresh or saltwater aquariums, paludariums, and various tank styles like biotope, Iwagumi, Dutch, nano, and betta tanks. The deep grey color of this stone enhances plants and tank inhabitants. Glue or grout them to create small cliffs, caves, mountains, berms, paths, and walls. Lay flat, stand on end, or angle with support. Use with larger pieces, smaller stones, and gravel for a realistic scene. Attach to medium/small driftwood to prevent floating.
REPTILE ENCLOSURES – Perfect for smaller reptile enclosures as basking and climbing stones and feeding stations in terrariums, vivariums and other pet enclosures. They can be glued together to create caves, cliffs, berms, walls. These stones naturally hold heat well. Use with our larger pieces to create an attractive and natural environment for your pets.
MINIATURE – Perfect for creating walkways, benches, walls, steps, archways, caves/caverns, ground cover (patio), water falls and much, much more in dioramas, miniature or fairy gardens, mossariums, miniature models and model railroads. We offer several larger and smaller sizes to create a seamless realistic hardscape. Great for mosaic art, too.
As a natural stone, there may be some white quartz veining or brown surface discoloration. These beautiful variations add a natural uniqueness and interest to the stones. Use aquarium safe glue or epoxy to secure all your creations for the safety of your inhabitants. Thoroughly rinse all stones before placing in your habitat. Absolutely no coatings on this or any of our stone.

Perfect!
I wanted a more natural tank environment and these rocks look amazing. The rocks were as described and the right size for my tanks. I was able to make a couple rock formations. High recommend these rocks!

GREAT FOR BABY BOX TURTLE TERRARIUM
It’s simple slate rock but it’s natural and really great for my box turtle terrarium. Someone gave the little critter to me (she’s only the size of a half dollar) and I had NO idea how to take care of her. So, I read up on the subject and got her a HUGE 36 inch terrarium and tricked it out with all kinds of coconut fiber “dirt” , topped with moss, and added some of these slate rock pieces which I have carefully placed in “steps” to allow the little one to climb (not too high) but just enough to let her think she’s basking on a rock in the “sun” of her lamps. She likes them. MUST RINSE OFF GOOD BEFORE USING as they have some white dust and there may be some tiny, broken bits that chipped off the ends. Overall, they’re great. Some of them are 3 inches long , some are only 1 1/2 inch but you can fit them any way you want to build things inside your “critter dome”. LOL. If your turtle is small, like mine, be careful not to pile them high, just enough to give her a bit of activity. I also placed one or two inside her bathing dish to help her climb in and out better.

Very nice accent to the aquarium floor. Wash thoroughly before implementing! They are quite small rock, much smaller than I hoped, but worked OK in my 30g aquarium. Looks nice!

Nice variety of shapes and sizes. Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin, and exactly what I wanted. Would definitely order again if I need more aquascaping stone.

Unique and Beautiful Stones
These are real slate, and 99.99% pure slate. Jet black color with virtually no marbling. I bought all three sizes and am VERY pleased with all. Washing is recommended but scrubbing is not really necessary. They look really beautiful in a freshwater fish aquarium. The shapes are varied as expected, but perfect and natural. Unless you have unlimited time to search for less expensive sources and options, these are worth the expense.

Nice but could be better
Nice product but not enough pieces to really make a cave. Some sharp edges that arenât safe for my Axolotl. Very dusty so wash before placing in the tank.
