Customers say
Customers find the driftwood stunning in water and appreciate its solid feel and variety of shapes and sizes. The wood adds a naturalistic touch to aquariums and terrariums, and customers consider it well worth the price. Regarding floatability and water color, opinions are mixed – while some say it sinks beautifully, others note it floats initially, and while some report the water turning brown, others mention no tannins.

Great variety, definitely ordering more
Nice variety of shapes and sizes, that are going to look beautiful in my fish tank. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality and I’m definitely going to be ordering more in the future.I put the wood pieces into a jug of water for several days to leech out the tannins. At the start, they all floated which was to be expected. Now, after almost a week the majority of them have waterlogged and are sitting at the bottom. There are a few stubborn pieces that still float but that’s just the way it goes sometimes. I’ll weight them down with rocks or something. As for the tannins, they definitely needed the soak. But it’s been 24 hours since the last water change and it’s completely clear now. So I’d say to let them soak for at least a week before putting them into a fish tank. Unless you want that black water look, of course.

Good size and lots of character on each piece
These driftwood pieces were shipped and arrived on time with no disappointment. They are very interesting pieces that have added a natural look and feel to 2 of my aquariums. They are solid and do produce quite a bit of tannins initially into the water, so if you do not want the cloudy look in your tank I recommend soaking them separately for a bit before adding to your main display.Otherwise they provide a natural habitat that can be stand alone, or easily decorated with live or fake plants, increasing functionality in any aquarium. I put the smaller one in my 5 gallon tank and the larger in my 20 gallon.Highly recommend

Great size and quality
Exactly what I was looking for! I put two in my 20 gallon and one in my 2.5 gallon. I love how they look. I boiled them and let them rest. They have had some of that white algae develop on them, but that’s normal with good drift wood!

Adds depth to aquarium
Okay, so not SPLENDID but nice! I order 7:-11 inches I should have been brave and got the 14 inch, my aquarium is 29 gallon tall. It definitely adds some hiding caverns and the texture of the wood is beautiful and knotty the color rich. I boiled it at least 12 times over 36 hours, lots of brown tannins water came off. My tank is new and levels good. Enough for fish to be happy and safe, they are happily exploring. Good value for money at $19, well worth it. I used a small rock to hold one log down I know it will stay down soon 2/3 pieces stay down straight away.

Great pieces, donât forget the springtails
Great for hard scapes in a terrarium or vivarium. Definitely have springtails in there because these WILL go through a mold phase. They look great and the variety in size and shape is much appreciated.

Awesome driftwood
Iâm really impressed with this set of natural driftwood pieces! They arrived well-packaged and just as describedâeach piece had a unique, twisted shape that adds a lot of character to my aquarium. The size range (10â14 inches) was perfect for my 20-gallon tank, and both pieces had a beautiful natural look without being overly bulky. What stood out the most is how easy they were to work with. After a quick rinse and soak, they sank in the tank without much hassle. Unlike some driftwood that needs weeks of soaking, these had very low tanninsâthere was only a slight tint to the water at first, which cleared up quickly with a water change and carbon filter. My fish love exploring the nooks and branches, and the wood adds a very naturalistic touch to the aquascape. These would also look great in a reptile terrarium if you’re into that!Highly recommend for anyone looking for safe, natural, and attractive tank decor. Just keep in mind that each piece is unique, so you wonât get an exact match to the photosâbut thatâs part of the charm.

Theyâre ok
The pieces look ok – itâs all random what you get anyways so even if most peoples look great, yours could be different obviously. My biggest thing is they all came broken. Pieces had fallen off I assume during transport. Comes bubble wrapped but they only wrap the middle section – not the outer sides. Iâve bought from other sellers and they arrive just fine so Iâll probably keep sourcing driftwood from other places. $16 isnât a bad price though – just hope theyâre not broken or a boring shape that you can find as soon as you walk onto any river/lakefront.
