Perfect for Long-Bearded Small Dogs!
As the owner of a tiny, 4-pound Yorkshire Biewer Terrier with long beards, I faced a constant problem: every time he drank from a regular water bowl, his beard would get completely soaked. Because of this, it started to develop a damp, unpleasant odor. My vet suggested a cat fountain, but his beards still got wet. I was even considering trimming his beards, until I found this drip waterer. This product is exactly what I’d been searching for! My dog learned to use it from day one. Now, his beards stay completely dry. A significant benefit is that it encourages him to drink water more slowly and carefully, preventing those concerning choking incidents. My vet also mentioned that drinking without craning their necks down as much can even help prevent gas in dogs.Plus, there’s no more water spilled on the floor! This waterer solved the problems of his wet beard and the spilled water on the floor, making a huge positive difference for both my dog and our home. While I can’t say if it works as well for larger dogs, for small dogs, it’s a perfect solution and I highly recommend it!

Perfect watering station for puppies with long hair
My wife has several ShihTzus and one of the things we try to keep up with is keeping their beards and faces from getting matted. We’ve tried several automatic waterfall type watering setups and they work pretty well for the larger dogs, but puppies just tend to step into the bowl part. We tried this one on the advice of a breeder and its really well for small puppies. As long as its at least half full and the tip is clean it leaks very little if at all. When it gets low it tends to drip just a little, but the catch basin catches it and its not enough to worry about unless the puppy plays with it and then you get a little water in the bowl part. But the good thing is the puppy gets a lot less water on her face and feet, so thats a win.Make sure you add a little water to the base for stability and you’re good to go.

Good if your pet knows how to use it.
The product itself is fine. Easy setup and vibrant colors. However, if your pet doesnât know how to use it, then itâs probably not worth it. Our cat has no clue how it works lol.

Great water bottle that holds a lot of water, enough water comes out, the height is adjustable
Great water bottle that holds a lot of water, enough water comes out, the height is adjustable. I had 4 of these water bottles previously. My water is very hard despite my water softener so after a few years despite washing the water bottles, I could not remove the calcium deposits, so I threw out and just ordered three more of the same water bottles. I only have 2 little Shih Tzu’s now since my Maltese passed in early September 2022, so I decided three was enough for now. I keep two in my home office and one upstairs in my bedroom, so my Furkidz have water whenever they are thirsty. I love how the water stays clean and their faces don’t get soaked with water. I love how my hardwood floors do not get wet like when I had bowls that got tipped over. I kept the attachments from my other 4 so I will have two that are all green and one that is mostly green with one yellow piece. I would have liked that the green bottle was the same color as all the other plastic parts, but everything is so perfect about this water bottle that I gave it 5 stars. I also would have liked all in one color for all the parts but again everything else about this water bottle works for my little dogs that love drinking from it, that I have accepted the colors. I had other water bottles that looked nicer but did not hold a lot of water and not enough water came out of them, as well as they did not last long at all with a much higher price.

Works Well, But A Modification Would Be Great
I have 2 of these and they really have worked great overall. The pen I use for puppies has thicker wall and no place to hang a water bucket or attach a Choconose type Water bottle. A water dish with a litter is a disaster. Filling the base with water does make it heavy enough but puppies are oh so cleaver, and the plug on the back side is such great fun to explore and pull out. The result of course, is water all over the floor. If I were to give the manufacturer feedback, if the plug was a screw type it would be much more secure. Puppies/dogs may chew still, so maybe even recessing the plug a bit where little mouths can’t go would be a great improvement.

Capacity is not accurate.
I bought this because the description read “3.8 liters” but it actually only holds about 18 ounces. It does work well. Another issue is it has to be partially disassembled from the stand to be filled. On the good side, It works very well, is sturdy and the 18 ounces seems to be on par with the competitors.I have kept it.

UPDATE: Replacement is great!
UPDATE: I was able to get the item exchanged without any hassle. Changed my rating to âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸ because everything works now!The upside of this dog water bottle is that it doesn’t leak and it has a bowl underneath the water bottle to catch any drips (if it were to do so, which it doesn’t). I also think the colors are cute, although I would’ve liked the option to choose one color. The downside is that the base, which you’re supposed to fill with water for stability, leaks like crazy. It appears that mine has a large hole in the reservoir, so I’m going to see if I can exchange it for one that doesn’t have a hole. If it did not, I would’ve rated this item with 5 stars across the board.

Not the best solution for our pet
Unfortunately this was not what we were looking for. I feel sure it might be the bees knees for some pets but not ours.

Has a base you can fill to keep it from tipping. Got it for my bunny and itâs great. Easy to take apart

Our small dogs water bottle was attached to a crate and we had to have a large crate in living zone. This allows us to place her water in our living zone without the large crate.

Perfect for my dog and the floor stays nice and dry

I bought it for my cat who started soaking his chest in the water dish as he was so thirsty. Turned out he has diabetes but that’s another story. He didn’t want to drink from the bottle spout but we use the green base as a water dish instead. The soaking issue were resolved after he started treatment for diabetes anyway. I think dogs might be more inclined to use it.

My Coton loves this and he learnt how to use it quickly. It helps with stains around his mouth:
