Great suet to use to keep squirrels off!
Keeps the squirrels off of your feeders!! This has hot pepper on it. Saw a squirrel drinking lots of water after getting a taste of the hot spice from the suet. He had his whole body spread over the water dish. I wish I could have gotten a picture! Seriously though, the squirrels have done a number on our feeders tearing them up & chewing the plastic. We bought the hot suet and no more damage! They are gone! It does not affect the birds at all. Best suet! We even buy hot seed to put in our bird feeders. It works. We have over 20 varieties of birds at our feeders. They love the hot suet!

bird blocks and cylinders come broken in pieces
lately when I have been getting both the blocks and cylinders they are broked in pieces in their wrappings…that was not like that before.

It was crushed on delivery
I received this bird block completely broken up. Not happy about that as it won’t work putting it in the cage. I’ll update my review once I put it in a dish, and if the birds like it, as I’ve never bought this brand before.The birds love it so I will upgrade to a 4 star because of the quality

Work great
Squirrels leave these alone. Only issue is when it rained they unclumped and ended on the ground. Pretty expensive but the only feed that the squirrels haven’t touched so a good trade off.

Should be labeled fragile
This is a good product. The birds love it. However, the problem is with the shipping. The seed cake is fragile and breaks apart easily. It needs to be packaged more carefully.

Beware Potential Shipping Destruction
This review is regarding this specific purchase. I have purchased these hot pepper seed bricks many times in brick and mortar stores and love the product. Birds love it, they are long lasting and squirrels won’t touch it. However, this order was shipping in an Amazon poly mailer instead of a box. By the time it reached my front porch, both bricks were absolutely smashed and unusable in my brick seed feeder. Buyers be aware that these items are NOT eligible for return. However, after pressing the matter with Amazon customer service, I was issued a refund for these items. I will no longer purchase them online and take my chances on them arriving in one piece.
