they are good but some come broken naturally. be sure to have a square box feeder. best thing is squirrels do not eat this!

The seed cake arrived a crumbled mess
I used to consider these a 5 star product. I loved to buy these for our local woodpeckers. It is easy to slip into a suet cage and less likely to be consumed by marauding squirrels. But in the most recent order two of four cakes were crumbled – to the point that none of it is useable as a seed cake. Unfortunately I opened the shipping box past the return date. Considering the current price of the seed cakes and the condition two of them arrived in, they are no longer a reasonable value for the money.
