Really is a miracle brush!
This is by far the best brush I have ever purchased. I don’t just mean for my dogs – I mean it’s the best brush I’ve ever purchased, period. I have two shelties who of course have very long beautiful fur, but it needs to be frequently brushed or it will develop horrible mats. I purchased this brush to make the grooming easier so as to avoid the mats from forming, as well as to brush out the mats that DID form. It works beautifully. If the mats are not too large, it will actually work to untangle them and remove them. If the mats are too far gone, it will untangle and salvage some of the fur before you cut the rest of it out. Since purchasing this brush, my dogs have not developed any mats since it is so much more pleasant to brush them. The brush tips are very fine and glide through their fur easily. It is great at slicking their fur and it makes them look downright glossy afterward. In fact, it makes their fur look so glossy afterward that I actually contemplated buying one for myself since I have long hair lol. One of my shelties seems to actually enjoy being brushed and will lay down on her side while I’m grooming her. The other does not actually LIKE the brush, but will tolerate it and let me complete the task. Additionally, it’s a perfect size and fits comfortably in my hand while I’m doing the brushing. My only complaint is that some fur gets trapped in the bristles and it’s rather difficult to remove it from the center of the brush (the sides are very easy to clean because you don’t have to try to stick your fingers between the bristles to grab the fur). I have no doubt that I will buy another one and would highly recommend for long-haired dogs with thick coats.

Great at getting stubborn fur out, good for thick or long hair, stiff bristles means that you’ll do less tugging because it’ll pull out the loose coat easily, the size is ideal for most medium to large size dogs.

Decent brush
I just adopted a double-coated dog (blue heeler) and he was very itchy and shed a lot when we first got him. Not unusual for the breed, but when we started to brush him I was totally shocked – We could get 3 brushfulls of undercoat out of him in one sitting! After using this brush 5 or 6 days a week for 2 weeks, plus a bath, we don’t get nearly as much off of him. Part of that could be because his nutrition is better now, but my guess is that he had a lot of undercoat built up – consistency paid off. Even so, we’ve ordered a de-shedding tool (you know the one!) in hopes that we don’t have to spend quite so much time.The dog tolerates the brush well, and even enjoys it (as most dogs do) but even with his double coat I do find that I have to be careful how I angle it – the bristles are similar to bent, flattened pins – hard, metal and scratchy, and I try not to drag them directly across his skin. This is not the type of brush to press hard with or give a massage…The brush is well-constructed and sturdy. We used it in the bathtub as well, no problem. It’s pretty easy to get the hair out, just press down at the top of the brush and roll the fur downward.

Finally something that worked!!
I am beyond words how good this brush worked. My cat is a senior and cant keep up with grooming. I tried 2 other products with no success. This brush worked the very first time I used it. She did not want me to stop. Finally a brush that deserves five stars.

I have all the sizes of the miracle coat slicker brush , I use them on my bichpoo I find them the best brushes for getting through a fleece coat and I use the cat one on the dog as itâs a great size to get to the under arms and for the legs, I always go through afterwards with a metal comb as brushing alone on a fleece coat wonât get all the knots out .
