Great product to have on hand when clipping dog claws for the occasional mis-cut
Great to have on hand when trimming dog claws. Works fast and effective to stop bleeding if you cut the quick of the claw. We have 2 German Shepherd Dogs and they tend to pull their paws away when trimming their claws….these occasionally leads to a mis-cut. This styptic powder product is highly effective and fast to get the bleeding to clot. A pinch pressed against the cut tip of the claw with a few seconds of pressure to keep it in place is all that is needed for it to form a clot. We have had the same container for the past 4 years and pull it out at the ready every time we trim claws, just in case. The only issue we have with this product is the lid does not stay on very well. We solved that issue by placing a large square of saran wrap over the top before replacing the lid….it gets stored in a small ziplock bag along with the claw clippers and has not leaked once in the 4 years we have had it. I would definitely buy again to replenish if/when we run out.

Works Exactly as Needed
I bought this to have on hand for my pets, and it does the job perfectly. A little goes a long wayâjust a small amount instantly stops bleeding from minor nail trims or small cuts. Itâs reassuring to know it also has a pain-relieving ingredient, so my pets are more comfortable when accidents happen.We have a chocolate lab with dark nails so we struggle not hitting the quick. The container is compact but holds plenty of powder, and itâs easy to dip his nail right in. Definitely a must-have for any pet ownerâs first aid kit.

Smart Buy for Plant Lovers
First time buyer and I am a keeper. This powder helped me start new root growth on hydrangeas. Small size container goes a long way. Easy to use, no smell. Safe to use. Good quality because it gave to roots within days and I was able to plant with in a week outside.

A MUST HAVE
I have a rescued blue hyacinth macaw that not only plucks but she also barbs her feathers and creates blood feathers. This product helps me stop the bleeding from the feather and/or from the skin point where I had to pull the feather and stop the bleeding. This product works the quickest and sometimes I just have to pour the powder on and hold her still for a couple of minutes which every time has been enough to stop the bleeding and stop it quick. I even had a need to this container this morning. I use to order the smaller container but I have found this bigger one and I get more to have on hand. Honestly for example this morning when i just poured it on her i prob used to much but I dont care I need to treat her quickly and with a product that works. THIS IS IT and honestly if this works on my very large rescue parrot it will work for you.

OK. clumped since last year.
Bought this tub last year. Last week, I accidentally nicked my dog while trimming off matted fur. The powder was badly clumped, but I managed to get out enough for a polstace on the bleeding wound. It quickly stopped the bleeding. In due course, I covered the wound and polstace with a wice bandage, and then wrapped the leg with a medical-type stretch band. When I wasn’t looking, the dog removed the stretchband, and then disappeared both the postace. I assume it ate the polstace. Fortunately, no damage was done and the wound healed nicely. Did its job, but nothing special about it.

Miracle Care Kwik Stop is a total essential if you have a pet chicken in the house like I do. My girl had a little toe nick during nail trimming, and this powder stopped the bleeding instantly. I got this after a couple of âbloodyâ incidents while clipping my dogâs nails. It does exactly what it says – just a small amount is enough to stop the bleeding. I do wish Iâd get better at clipping her nails so I wouldnât need to use this, but it feels great knowing I have it on hand for peace of mind.
