Excellent for puppies
Excellent runner for my puppy. She chases all around the house and just when you think it is done, the mouse zooms off again. So fun!

My cat loves it, but the tail can get tangled
My cat wasnât sure what to do with this at first, but after watching it for a few minutes he started to chase it. It looks realistic enough to keep him interested and usually manages to get itself unstuck, though it can roll under furniture so you might need to fish it out occasionally. The size and battery life are good. The tail is quite long and sometimes gets wrapped around the toy, which it can usually roll itself out of, but my cat tends to lose interest when that happens. The only issue Iâve noticed is that long hairs or strings can get caught in the spinning part of the tail, and it can be hard to remove them. I wasnât sure if the tail was meant to be removable for cleaning, so I didnât force it.It rolls well on carpet and keeps my cat entertained for about 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Overall, itâs a fun and engaging toy that adds variety to playtime.

Needs some improvements.
My kitties have several Migipaws toys, and theyâve all been fantastic! So, I was excited to get this one for them. Unfortunately, I have to say it was a bit disappointing. The toy just rolls on its sides around the room and doesn’t perform well on carpet. The tail is overly long and tends to get tangled easily, especially when they play with it on the carpet, causing the toy to stop. My cats weren’t particularly impressed with it. I believe that with some improvements, such as different play modes, smaller size, and a modified tail, this could be a really great toy.

Alas, No Hunters Here
This is a great toy, it really is. The fool here is me. Back when my cat lived partially outdoors (not with me) she was observed to fall asleep in a ray of sunshine and, as she napped, had a chipmunk come and nap on her back. I’ve no idea why I thought she’d enjoy this other than cussed hope.I really am hoping to find something she likes, because she is active. This was just another loss on our road to discovery together. As to the toy! It chitters enticingly and gyrates about, the lightweight tail spinning in wild directions. If I were a cat I’d definitely chase it. It’s easy to charge and to turn on and off. Most cats would definitely love this. It even ‘plays dead’ for a bit before spiraling back to life and will return to play mode at a touch.

Great toy for supervised play time!
This review is for the Migipaws’ Interactive MigiMouse Cat Toy for $16.99.I absolutely love this toy for my cat. The first thing I thought when I opened it was that it was more gerbil-sized than mouse-sized but it works so well.Unscrew his butt to charge and change the squeak frequency. Once set the way that you want, press his butt button and let him go. He reminds me A LOT of the tazmanian devil. His movements are so random – my cat absolutely loves this toy (I think because it’s still a mystery to her). She hasn’t actually gone after it but she follows it where ever it goes and for as long as it’s going, her attention is super focused on this toy. (You will notice in the pictures when I was trying to get shots of it, she was standing waiting for me to let it go again). That being said, my 85 pound lab/pointer mix is terrified of it and will get up and stand behind my legs if it’s out and about. This also reminds me of the cartoons! You’re 85 pounds!Things I like about this toy:- Once powered on, if it times-out, all you have to do is touch its butt and it’ll start for another few minutes again. My cat has not figured this out yet. I have to keep touching its butt so she can be entertained.- Movement is VERY random – it both rolls and twists its tail and pauses long enough for both you and cat to think it has stopped only to start twirling again and whizzing across the floor. If you are concerned about it getting lost, I’d suggest closing in an area for it to be secluded in – otherwise it will go EVERYWHERE as long as the door is open and the path is clear. It’s also very good at getting itself out of tight spots.- It has a catnip pouch inside by the USB-C port – I’ve manhandled the pouch a little (mushing it up so the magic is released).Things I don’t like:I really don’t have anything I don’t like about it. The reason I suggest supervised play is because it can run into some small issues if left unattended:- The fur near the tail on the butt can become loose with time and can get stuck in the tail spinning mechanism which can bind it up.- The mouse body can become unscrewed from the plastic part of it if it gets stuck against a wall and can’t free itself. I put it in one of her cat tubes and it got wedged into a corner. The fur part wouldn’t move but the plastic still rotated which lead to it becoming two parts. This brings my old fuddy-duddy cat so much joy. I happened to look at some of the other products they have and one is a box that has moving balls, wands, etc, and is motion activated – looks safer for independent play and would be great at night when my cat wants to play and I want to sleep.

Weird but keeps cat occupied
This toy moves/rolls around in kind of weird way and it has a long rat like tail that wraps around it off and on. To be honest itâs kind of gross the way it moves and looks lol. But it does seem to keep the interest of my cat for a while. The cat will chase it and watch it, following it around the room. The chirping sound it makes occasionally, also seems to peak interest. But two days in, it doesnât seem like a toy that he will pounce or attack. It may have to do with the rolling kind if frenetic movement that the toy makes. Iâm not sure. Anyway if you want something to keep the cat busy and active, this will probably work. If youâre looking for a toy that the cat will keep you entertained with antics this may not be it (but your cat also might be different).

I have few toys that my cats actually like, that don’t involve me having to constantly play with them. This one allows them to entertain themselves. It has a tendency to wrap the tail around itself, causing it to spin like a top for a while, but it straightens itself out eventually. The neatest feature is that it stops, waits a while, and then starts moving again in another direction. My cats don’t really attack it; just they follow it around. They bat at it when it stops, or gets stuck, and then it starts up again. The only problem with this toy is that it doesn’t beep when it goes dormant. It just shuts off. It took me an hour to find it last time, stuck behind a couch. I haven’t tried it with catnip, or the music feature yet, as it doesn’t really need it. I hope the fur cover is washable, because it sweeps the floor as it spins.

This toy has been working well for my cat so far. She tends to be scared of the larger, noisier types of toys, but this one seems to be just the right size (plus it looks and is soft like a mouse) and the right volume when it comes to the little squeaks it makes from time to time. The way it works is, it rolls around once turned on, and this causes the tail to move wnd whip as well, which is the part my cat likes chasing the most; the toy’s movements also take it under furniture, then bring it out as well (unless something keeps it stuck), so that gives my kitty some more chase-like activity too. This is both a merit and a flaw, I’d say? In the sense that, if you have a place with just a few “unders”, it’s totally fine; in bigger rooms with lots of such places, it could easily become more of a game of your getting the toy unstuck than the cat actually getting to play. But in my small flat, it works really well. The toy charges quickly (USB-C charging port, cable is provided but any regular USB-C cable will do). The only low point for me is that the design here could be better: to reach both the sound buttons and the charging port, you need to unscrew the “mouse top” from the toy; I think this could’ve been made more easily reachable, at least for the charging port.
