We purchased this to replace a different litter box for our bunny. Should have started with this one! Easy to clean and NO SMELL, Iâve noticed fewer messes outside the box- great size

More Sanitary Than Plastic
We have always used plastic litter pans for our guinea pigs, so when I saw this metal pan, I wanted to give it a try. It’s quite large, but fits easily in our piggies’ 2×4 C&C cage. For those who have just an enclosed cage from the big box store, it WILL NOT fit. Those cages that you buy from the pet stores are way too small even without this litter pan inside. As for the metal grate that comes with the pan, they are not good for little piggies feet because they could cause bumblefoot, or their nails could break if their toes get caught the wrong way. We also didn’t line the bottom of the pan with the pee pad because it would’ve been useless since they pee so much. Instead, we placed paper towels on the bottom, then fill the pan with hay. We’re using the pee pad in a different area of their cage underneath their food bowls and water dispenser. Their litter pan gets cleaned out everyday, so the metal does make it easier and more sanitary. Overall, this pan would’ve gotten 5 stars if they omitted the metal grate that’s dangerous for small animals’ feet.

at first glance i thought it was way too tall / big for my bun but no this is the holy grail of litter boxes! i can layer 1-3 layers of litter and remove each layer throughout the weeks for easy clean up! definitely worth the investment, and the size is growing on me! it is easy to use for my bun and keeps his feet clean, and when he uses the bathroom his âlittle pebblesâ go straight through the grid! 10/10! this is Waffles in the litter box, heâs been there for hours! safe to say he likes it!

Heavy duty
Very sturdy and heavy. Good value as it is indestructible for a rabbit. I use disposable puppy pads for easy cleaning.

Perfect size for our adult rabbit
The medium size has been working very well for our (New Zealand) rabbit. The spacing is just right to let droppings fall into the bottom of the pan and still be comfortable for our bunny boy to sit on. He seems to prefer the litter box outside his hutch over the plastic one inside. This one is certainly easier to clean. Though it comes with pee pads, I didn’t want to wash them and have been using just paper bedding to absorb the liquid waste.

My bunny and I love this litter box
Iâve always had plastic litter boxes for my bunny, but after getting this steel one, this is my new go-to. Size is perfect, very easy to clean (rinse and washing out with soap). It comes with two of the pads too! Perfect when interchanging. Sometimes, what I do is I put the pad down and add in a disposable pad with some bunny litter up top. Iâve noticed that my bunny prefers this one over the plastic one with how much more often I clean this out compared to the plastic. Really great value.
