best nail trimmers out there
I have been using these nailtrimmers for about 12 years. I used to trim dog, cat, bird, guinea pig, bearded dragon, whatever people wanted with these trimmers at the pet store I worked at. When I left I bought 10 pairs. that was 9 years ago. I gave a few away, left a pair or two at family and friend’s houses so I could trim their pets nails when visiting. Just ordered 6 more pairs. my image is from the last 2 of the 10 I bought 9 years ago. they still work great, no issues. I have 2 dogs 2 cats and trim all their nails every 2-4 weeks. they get a ton of use. if you are trimming big overgrown dog nails frequently they will wear out and the screw gets loose and they don’t grip as well. I never tried to use the warranty, at the price I just buy new ones. one thing I do is I pull the trimmers out of the pack and make sure the ends meet smoothly. a defect I have found is some are adjusted poorly and the two ends hit before you can cut the nail so it makes the cut more clampy for the pet. return them if they feel like that and exchange themfor pairs that move freely. I ordered 6 pairs and one pair had that issue. I tried to replace it but the replacement pair had the same problem and I can’t exchange them, so I am returning them. 5/6 is pretty good though. I am also kind of picky so maybe this wouldn’t bother someone else. anyways. these are the only nail trimmers I use and I can use them on any size dog or cat and any animal. they are the best out there and I hope they will be available forever. Just in case I buy a bunch at a time so I never run out.

My favorite trimmer
This is my best trimmer for over a decade. I can clip most dog’s nails with no problem as it cuts like a butter. Also my patients don’t freak out as much as it cuts quietly and not much pressure needed to trim. A few of my colleagues now have scissor type trimmers thanks to me as I get requests from clients but no one else. It last sharper longer and durable than other brands.

Easy to use on small and medium sized dogs. Didn’t use on our smallest dog because of her tiny toes, but 3 out of 4 were solid. I simply put out a lickpad of dog peanut butter and trimmed away.

As a pro groomer, I use these a lot..especially this larger size..I just wish they were a bit sturdier. They seem to wear out quickly. I love them for medium to small pets though! Comfortable to use and hold.

Professional nail scissors
I own a grooming salon and am a professional groomer. I now specialize in cat grooming. I love these nail scissors! They work great on all pets including larger dog breeds. They hold their sharp edge for a long time. We use these daily up to 20 times a day!
