The Large version. Our best selling single model. Also available in a two unit combo to treat both cold & hot lines. No other product comes even close. The latest water technology. A heavy large 6 magnet magnetic water softener/conditioner which simply straps to your main water inlet to a house in 2 minutes without tools. Anybody can install it. This is 6 times more powerful than most units. Weighs 2 pounds–solid steel with superior potency magnets. Not all neodymium magnets are the same potency though they may be the exact same size. And since they create a magnetic field within the inlet pipe which performs the conditioning function, this difference is critical. Water contains minerals, and the worst the water, the more minerals, which translate to hard water. That is what hard water is–minerals. This system uses basic physics to change the molecular structure status of the ions in minerals, as those minerals remain suspended in the water while it flows, causing them not to stick to dishes, skin, fixtures and walls of pipes. Those minerals still suspended, completely go through your plumbing system and out the drain instead of being deposited into your fixtures, pipes, dishes, and on your skin. There are other units with ceramic magnets, which have a fiftieth or less of the power or they are selling for considerably more money units that do not have the total magnetic power of this unit, which is generated by 6, not 2, high-grade N45 13,000+ gauss EACH neodymium magnets. The rating of the magnetic force is critical and there are none close to this for this price. Installation is simple-place the unit around the pipe, use the included straps to fasten it. Will fit any size household water inlet pipe made of copper, iron, or pvc/abs. Hundreds of thousands have sold to customers with bad water around the US and world. There’s a difference, and nothing even comes close for the price. Never needs replacing, servicing, or maintenance. USA Made (not overseas).

Does what Ecosmarte should have done much better!
I have a whole house water filtration system made by Ecosmarte that was supposed treat the water by first filtering it and second soften it electronically and add copper and titanium electrons to keep it safe. By the time I had the system about eight years the water was obviously attacking my metal throughout the house and was very intermittently soft so I discontinued the use of the electronic softener. I purchased the magnetic water softener & conditioner about a year ago and the water has been consistently soft(slicker feel and you need very little soap). My metal that was attacked by the Ecosmarte has stabilized and the faucets that I replaced due to the corrosion from using the Ecosmarte, are showing no signs of any corrosion and no water spots either.

Magnetic Conditioner
I pondered purchasing this or a product like it for quite a while. After having and using salt based softeners for many years I wanted to try something better for the environment and cost effective for me.I never cared for the slimy feeling that salt based conditioners provide,so I took a chance and though it has only been about a month, what I can say is the rings in the toilets do not form as quick and the white deposits around the faucets do not build up as fast and wipe off much easier, the water does not feel slimy so I feel it is working.Keep in mind this is more a conditioner than a softener.

but I have noticed that water in the shower feels “softer” and it takes longer to feel like I got the shampoo out of my hair
I was referred to this product by a friend who swears by it. He even advised not to use it if you have old pipes that could have pin leaks in them and the hard water deposits were clogging the pin holes up. He said the water molecule change could clear the holes and now you have the old pin leaks. So we finally bought one AFTER we had the house re-piped with new copper pipes. I can’t swear by the product, but I have noticed that water in the shower feels “softer” and it takes longer to feel like I got the shampoo out of my hair.

waste of money
Did nothing to soften water, don’t waste your money. The water spots on the dishes never went away and the white spots on my fridge kept coming back.

Maybe Texas water is too hard
Maybe our water is just too hard, but I’ve not seen anything close to the kind of reduction in buildup that we had with our salt-based water softener.

Water is now 15grain. Probably was before installing as well. I’d try to return it if possible.

Good product.
It actually works! We have really hard water, and this takes the edge off just enough. The coffeemaker is not clogging with calcium any longer. Good product.
