In a multiple-cat household, we have several scratching posts of different styles placed around the house. Some posts topple over when the cats start clawing, others shed, and materials come off all over the place. The Made4Pets Cat Scratching Post stands stably on the ground and has had no shedding so far. Judging by the material itself and the tightness of its wrapping, it will hold up really well and it looks nice too.One of my cats came running over and started scratching before I even had assembled the post. The kitty understood the assignment, and I felt like I needed to hurry up. It was very easy to assemble. Just make sure to measure the length of the mid screws, as one is slightly shorter. As I was rushing, I had to unscrew and start over again, but it was no big deal at all.In an ideal world, I would like the top perching spot to be wider so the cats can lie down on it. But for now, it is a step to get up on the counter to steal some treats, so that will do.For the quality and the build, it is a fair value scratching post, as it will most likely last for a while.

A cat favorite!
This sisal and carpet cat scratcher is nice and sturdy. It is /really/ easy to put together, with rods running from part to part to keep things nice and snug. The feather toy is attached really well – usually toys like that fall off immediately, but this is still going strong several weeks later. It is just tall enough to stand next to my couch, the perfect place for it. My cats love it!

This scratching post is a good mix of functional and fun. The combination of sisal rope and carpet gives my cats different textures to work with, and they immediately gravitated to the sisal section for claw-sharpening. The dangling toy and ball track were entertaining at first, especially for my younger cat, and it kept them engaged longer than a plain post would.Assembly was quick and painless â everything lined up properly, and it only took about five minutes to put together. This scratching post is exactly what I was hoping for. It was super easy to assemble, took just a few minutes, and once it was together, I could tell right away that it was built with quality in mind. The materials feel durable, the base is nice and wide for stability (especially important with larger cats), and the combination of sisal and carpet gives my cats multiple textures to enjoy. The top is very small so don’t expect them to be able to sit on it, but that’s not what I got it for so I don’t really care.Best part? Picked the Carpet-32″ and it was a hit right out of the box. Assembly took a few minutes (everything labeled, tool included). The height lets my cat get a full stretch, the 16″ x 16″ wide base keeps it steady, and the carpet wrap gives great claw feedbackâheâs choosing this over my couch now. The hanging feather toy adds quick playtime, too.After a few daysâ use: still solid, no tipping, and only minimal carpet fuzz (normal for scratchers). My cat went crazy for this scratcher as soon as I set it up. He loves to stand up on his back legs and stretch while scratching on it. The height is perfect for a larger cat and the base is wide enough that it does not tip over.It was very easy to assemble since every part was labeled and it came with the necessary tool. The carpet covering is sturdy and the attached toy adds extra fun. My cat now prefers this over my furniture which makes it a win for both of us.

The product arrived the next day and is exactly as pictured. I was quite pleased with the product because it’s tall and sturdy. No matter the size of your cat, they will definitely make use of this scratching post. I like that they offer 3 different kinds, carpet & sisal mix, sisal, and carpet to suit different cat needs/preferences. It was easy to install, and made with good material so no complaints here. The version of the Made4Pets cat scratcher I ordered is the one that has carpet on the bottom section and sisal rope on the top. My cat likes the rope scratchers to this was an easy choice.The cat scratching post requires a bit of assembly, but it only takes a few minutes to screw in the base and connect all the sections together. The necessary Allen key is included with the hardware bag.The 32″ post is a perfect height for an adult cat – this is something I alway struggled to find – my medium sized cat usually wasn’t able to stretch properly, but the Made4Pets post is just perfect!The top of the post has a small platform – it’s really too small for a cat to be comfortable on, but it’s not stopping mine from trying to perch there. I think a slightly larger top would be a plus.Overall the post makes a great impression. Sturdy construction, good quality carpet and rope and the built in cat toy still seems to keep my rather old cat interested. Solid 5 stars!
