Holds a 17lb cat
This is a great cat bed, even holds a 17lb cat up on my apartments sliding glass door. Very sturdy, and the cats love they can lay in the sunlight and look out the window. Easy to install, it’s never fallen down and it’s been up through a few seasons now.

Mixed emotions
I added a second cat to the household so I went looking for a second window perch, preferably one that could fold up so I can close my blinds. I ordered this perch and I have mixed feelings about it. Initially the suction cups wouldn’t stick thoroughly, so I soaked the cups in hot water again and re-cleaned the window and this time it’s stuck on tight. Both kitties have used it — it didn’t have an issue with my big boy so it’s sturdy enough to handle him. I wasn’t thrilled with how I had to soak the cups twice and I almost gave up on it after the first attempt.The other thing I am not particularly fond of is that the perch is not intended to fold with the fuzzy comfortable side up. It says this right in the item description, so it was not a surprise. Still, I’d rather have the plush side up. I did notice that the bumpers on the plush side can be nudged in so that it might fold up with that side up but I haven’t tried that yet because as soon as I got this perch up, there was a cat in it. They do love their perches!Overall this isn’t a bad perch. It just has a couple of quirks. I think the pricing is reasonable for what you get. If I do add another perch, I will order this brand’s flat perch (no plush bumpers) as the perch itself works well.

This is a really nice cat window perch. So Iâm assembly is required but quick and easy. The seat is very well-made. It attaches to the window with four large suction cups. The suction cups work great because itâs still up on the window and hasnât fell down one time. The perch come on quit is made of a super soft, fuzzy material. My cat really likes his window seat. He stays in it constantly. He loves to use it to watch for birds. If you are looking for a nice quality, affordable window seat for your cat, I highly recommend this one. Iâm very impressed with the style and quality of this window seat.

Four stars for the perch, it’s as described. Will it hold???
Following the instructions the cat perch was easy to install. I was excited to get it as my cats love to sit and look out the window at the birds. The suction cups have held well so far. However, I have big cats, 19lbs, 15lbs and 12lbs and they are all older.There is nothing under the window so if it fell, a cat could be injured hitting the floor. I see the website shows it holding a 40lb water jug – but I’m unsure of a 19lb cat jumping on and off. For the time being I have it closed so they can’t jump on it. I need to devise a test to see how it holds with a weight landing on and off. As for the perch itself, it seems like a well made product and easy to install.
